Yeah, I used this solid underlay with the Sails Are Set SPC kit. I overlayed with with white foil bubble underlays so it looked like the surface of the ocean. It turned out STUNNING.

Of course! I give out tickets to my students (I get a roll of 500 for like $5 on Amazon) for above and beyond good behavior. Then I also take away tickets if students are not doing what is expected, as a consequence. We read the bucket filled book at the beginning of the year, so that’s how I set it all up. Then depending on the year/class I’ve let them shop in the mornings during morning work or fun Fridays, or last years class had the store only once a month haha. Then I have a menu of some tangible things (smelly bookmarks, gel pens, water bottle stickers, prize bin) and some experiences (lunch with me, picking a story for the class, changing their name for the day, picking their class job, etc) and they give me the tickets it costs like a store! It’s a great counting and saving vs spending exercise, and it’s been my main management!

Interesting! I wish everyone had it haha! We have family in both places, but more live where we grow up. And we just wanted a new life adventure! We have never lived outside the state, and love the sunshine and just decided to try it out! This is the perfect time in our life pre-kids so we kinda were like why not :)

Ahhh! I love your line up. I always try to watch your videos and when I heard you were using one of my kits, I screamed and did a little happy dance around my living room. I got the funniest look from my two dogs. If dogs could talk, I swear they would have said, “I think mom has lost her marbles.” 😂

You can find fireflies all over NY state. They show up in Queens, too. You can catch them in a jar, but they usually just sit there and won't light up until freed

Love your spread and PWM, as always! :) I used to catch lightening bugs in my backyard in the summer. I don't have a Ninja Creamy but I know Tabitha of No White Space Stickers does and she loves it. For core foil: I absolutely love using silver and sparkly holo whenever possible. For fun foil: I love using sparkly blue/blue holo, red/sparkly red and sparkly orange whenever possible.

Happy 3rd birthday, sweet Sadie! Love your spread and PWM, as always. I haven't watched a ton of Disney+ but I want to go back and watch all of the DCom movies that I loved as a kid/teen. My fur-nephew is a Golden retriever and he hates the water. He fell in the deep end of the pool once and he started to sink and my nephew and I had to move him to the steps so he could get out.

When I was a kid some girls missed the first few days of school. Back then I didn't know that people did that. Only now do I realize it's disrespectful to the teacher and maybe the kid. I read it as teacher "what you have to say is not important" or "sorry kid what you're missing is not important". What are you teaching your kids? Maybe I was just envious and wanted to not be there.

Yes, exactly, as a teacher I view it as disrespect. I value family time and am very understanding, but then I think that a lot of kids learn this indirect disrespect for teachers/school from their parents and that is a whole other soapbox lol!!!

Love your spread and PWM! The colors in this kit are so pretty. Congratulations on your nephew's graduation! The years go by so fast so soak them all in. I wish time machines were a thing so I could go back and re-live memories and moments from when my nephews and nieces were younger. My nephew J graduates from high school this month and I'm still in shock. This coming fall, I'll have 2 nephews & 2 nieces in college (this truly blows my mind), 2 nephews and a niece in high school, 1 nephew in middle school, and two nephews in elementary school. Congratulations on your house selling! I can't believe how busy you are! As a former sub., thank you for leaving good sub. plans. I was always so nervous I would get in a classroom and be totally lost because of not having a good sub. plan. I really miss subbing so much. If I didn't have my damn health issues, I would totally go back to subbing. Oh no, poor Sadie.

Yes, the years are already flying by!! I will be a puddle when they graduate high school!! That is mind blowing your nieces and nephews are already in college! But yay for having such a wide age range to enjoy! And yes, I cannot believe that some people are able to leave without giving detailed sub plans! I commend all you subs! That job is not for the faint of heart!!
