The phrase "pony" is a British concept that needs to be scrapped. The Caspian is only about 10 hands or eleven hands but is called a horse. The craze for larger horses is just stupid. By the way, if an able bodied person is unable to mount a horse from the ground without a step ladder then the horse is too big, it is as simple as that.

This might of been interesting if the focus was on the insects. This seems to be a documentary about people who filmed insects. The title should have been "The people who filmed incredible insects of the Amazon"

That poor baby elephant must be traumatized after seeing its mother get shot and seeing her mother lying there and not being able to help her. The tears are flowing in both the baby elephant , the mama and me.

Chimpanzees and even Bonobos will never be human! Stop this "trying to humanize" them nonsense! They evolved the way they did for a reason, and we had our own evolution! They need to stop trying to change it!

17 minutes in we hear that a cougar's eyes are it's sharpest sense. I call bullshit, or at least, I require some convincing here. Not it's nose and scent receptors? It can probably smell changes in air currents and things about other animals even better than it can see, at least in terms of a wider variety of nuance and even if it sees at least as well as the most visually accute people do. I'd even wager it can smell a lot further off than it can see things. Surely this is why people never se cougars. A cougar knows you are there by smell miles before it ever has to encounter you, and wisely chooses to avoid the unpredictable smelly human thing.

I really enjoy that the big confrontation between the cougars at the beginning was so apparently low key and very much a subtle body language and scent thing. Few docs would take this less draumatic route, but if you know animals, and cats in particular, this is their way. How much scare-mongering is strictly necessary? All the posturing, if necessesary will be tried first, and very often, even much of that stress can be saved, in any given situation. And, with the rules clear, we move on.
