Looks like a great trip. Saw some familiar faces and sorry I couldn’t come. Great to see you all enjoying the HC.

I love the camera angles you're getting now - lots of the track, the vehicles negotiating it, and the views of the bush around - all the things to draw you up bush ... and then the camp fire relaxing the only way to spend the down time! For those like me who can't get out and do, this is wonderful to live vicariously through you! 🌳🚙♨😎💖

At the end of the video. The lights on the left hand side of the screen....which ones were those? I like the spread better on them. Can see potential animals about to cross the road

Was great meeting you guys. I really appreciate the chat we had, seems like we have a lot in common in regard to a few things. 🤣🤦🏽 Appreciate the shout out, it was almost like a collaboration there for a while. Hope we cross paths again, until then keep well.

Good one guys ... loved seeing the track as you travelled and the views of our wonderful top of the world! (PS I'm sad I didn't get to do the trip too 😢 ... but then, as much as I love being in the bush and spent many many nights in swags & tents, I physically would have a hard time camping now 😥)

My 2002 xl7 i love it,has the 2.7 engine,only thing i don't like is its a high rev engine and they come with super low gears,if im doing 70 mph down the interstate,im running close to 3500 rpm.other than that i love it:-)

Lot of guys don't like polished aluminum, they prefer completely blacked out or chrome....I personally prefer the look of polished aluminum heads with completely blacked out fins/barrels as used on this bike. They had the same on my favourite model the Softail Slim. Looked really good in Billiard Blue.

Love the new Intro clip! After the "relax" shot it could benefit with having that sunrise/fog scene, with "Thanks for watching" & the logo watermarked in bottom right corner and that same music finishing then too - better end to the intro 🥰 You guys are getting better and better! 🚙😎🚘

The National Trail - 5330km Healesville VIC to Cooktown QLD along the back of the Great Dividing Range! My school mate Linda Hudson (@Triumphs and Blunders on the National Trail) is doing the same trail on Brumbies she's training, heading off in October 2024! I would have been going with her (hence my trips to SA to train with her) except this Neuropathy took me over and rendered me useless. 😕🐎

Hi Thanks for the clips did you notice distinctive bright dots in the centre of the beam on the MK2's ?
@highcountrytv3017
@highcountrytv3017 6 ай бұрын
Thanks for taking the time to watch and comment. The MK2 lights really work on open roads with long straight sections. The dots then really work. Lights aren't so good in tight twisty roads however are far better than the old school halogen style driving lights.

Have a xl7 2,7 2003, got it in 2016. Planing to give it a smal lift, skidplates etc.
@highcountrytv3017
@highcountrytv3017 6 ай бұрын
Great vehicle, be aware most of the lift kits are for the standard Grand Vitara. This is fine for the front however the XL7 is much heavier and does not get the same amount of lift.

Cool video. What direction is easier in your opinion for Billy Goats Bluff Track, starting from Dargo or finishing in Dargo? Is it doable in stock 4x4 with high clearance and low range but without lockers?
@highcountrytv3017
@highcountrytv3017 7 ай бұрын
Hi thanks for taking the time to drop a comment. In all honesty Billy Goats is far easier heading down from the pinnacles. You may struggle alot in a non locked 4WD heading up. We suggest taking a look at the Pinnacles especially early in the morning :-). Happy new year, Explore, Camp, Relax and check us out in 2024. Cheers HCTV

Its was great to meet you guys at Mt.Terrible and strange to see someone from my industry. Jamie. That little Jackaroo rocks! I saw the P plate on this and instantly thought he's got a vehicle thats more capable than the driver, very under rated vehicle for the low budget wheelers. Great episode as usual guys. I hope to catch up with you guys again on the tracks. Safe wheelin'
