Wonderful tips! I think all children's workers and teachers could benefit by seeing this! I was taught in college to be a professional teacher. One of the things that I remember about the master teacher is that he or she will give praise to those who are behaving nicely, obeying the rules, or being kind. Rather than wasting time pointing out bad behaviors, and drawing the class' s attention toward that, we should be pointing out good behaviors. "I like the way, Johnny is sitting so quietly and ready for our story." "I like the way Susie has her hands folded in her lap." Etc. Just last Sunday in Sunday School, we were switching from one activity that involved moving about to sitting down at the table. I had told them it was time to sit down. I chose to say, I like the way.... no one is sitting down, rather than raising my voice to remind them again to sit down as I asked the first time. As I said... "no one is sitting down," they all scrambled for the table. They like having their name mentioned as the good example! There are occasions where behaviors have to be stopped or a child will get hurt, but otherwise, try to praise good behavior rather than being the negative police in the classroom.

I would show it to kids but I'm afraid boys go home, repeat and then their parents would go after me 😂 but I love this!
