Most herbivores are opportunist omnivores. Same way that your cat will try a green bean or cheese even though its a carnivore. Totally normal for a chicken to eat rats. Also these rats look like they were caught, not poisoned. Even if they were, the amount of poison used to kill the rats would be much smaller than the amount it would take to kill a chicken. Theyre like 20x the size

How about this for civil. Those are mice. You likely used poison on these mice. You just fed your chickens poisoned mice. You are ignorant.

They were definitely rats and rat pups. Maybe a couple mice. Pretty sure he didn't poison them. He probably gassed them after catching them in a live trap.

@johnellison16359 күн бұрын
@@BIGVHomestead G'day. I don't have any. There's some videos here on KZfaq, but they don't do the sound any justice. I've heard them heaps of times driving in the outback. And they're loud. Seriously loud. Not like the stuff you hear close to the cities. There's billions of them, and the sound really is deafening. And that's not an understatement either. You can drive for kilometres and they're everywhere.
@BIGVHomestead9 күн бұрын
@@johnellison1635 oh that is a shame. I would really like to hear that. On the videos and make you also cannot hear very well the loud noise they are making. We do not live in the city or close by. But we have some houses in the neighborhood.

@@PandaMcNasty1 these cats were last years rescue cats. They wanted to put them down, so we took em. We have to do them one by one and take em in, otherwise they get infected after being fixed. 4 of them are already done, 2 of them are in the house.
