Every expert on psychopaths mispronounces the word so, as "sio" in a similar way that psychopaths use past tense speech, and these experts admit to possessing a major character flaw (not caring about others, callousesness) indicating major psychopathic traits however the glib supetficialness like laughing immediately to disarm the person asking the question is seen over and over by these beginner psychopaths. If you are a Christian and not a psychopath you wouldn't think of killing even a harmless bug unless it was going to kill you first or you needed it for food. Uhm, factually they’re still human. Wouldn’t say monsters. I know full well some of them can do evil and harm. But there’re also who are aware that they are, yet try to have some moral compass? Ultimately people are born this way so; it’s not like they signed up for it. And I think blaming a whole group because you only see what mass media wants you to. Isn’t going to help anyone. Yet, again the people with this condition do have serious problems, though.

Not all psychopaths can work. Some are too crazy to interact with other people. The CEO and politicians are an exception. Some psychopaths are too nuts to become any of those things and they are dangerous in big and little ways.

I had the similar thought with epigenetics and PTSD. The thought process of, grandparents and/or great great grandparents, ancestors in general (really depending on the time line of the individual psychopath.) Being the PTSD hasn’t really gotten much attention until relatively recent years, ie. the great grandparent is in WW1 suffers PTSD, comes back and the children grow up with the their parent having PTSD, “changes” the kids DNA (to that to have a smaller amygdala, lower function VMPFC, etc) but being they are not effected but then turn around and pass the DNA with the “changes” down to their kids. Which in then gives them the biological basis for psychopathy. Then dependent on the severity and/or environment, produces the type of psychopath. I hope I got my thought process out clearly.

Honestly this comes across as less than a scientific discourse, it steps into numerous assumptions and biases on behalf of the speaker. This is one of the dangers of science-talks in that because science has a lot of rhetorical power (determine what people are persuaded by) if someone in the field is biased or not doing their due diligence as a researcher to ensure that data is free of bias or judgement, then they are actually creating more problems than they are solving. In short, there are better discussions on neuroscience and behavior elsewhere on KZfaq. Since most of the comments have boiled down to personal anecdotes and political arguments, it is telling.

During my second marriage I experienced severe emotional abuse while that husband of mine was feeling frustrated about being in a major perosnal and family business setback which I was having to cope with at the time well enough too. My self-esteem became so low that one day while seeking a routine annual check up I wondered aloud to our family doctor if my brain was damaged after being in a car accident. So she sent me to have a CAT scan done. The results were altogether normal. Not so for my poor husband after his injury at work. To this day I do not know for sure if he was already like that before that injury at work or if that injury changed his personality. My guess is that insurance companies all want us to believe that it is his personality from birth at fault instead. That could be true given the fact his first wife divorced him because of emotional abuse. I feel embarrased about how naive I was when young when falling for the idea that his past wife was only a liar. Only a liar while I was feeling dissilusioned about the family court system in general. However I refuse to ever be embarrrased about not ever wanting to have to choose from only 2 almost just as undesirable choices.
