Fixed the problem, bought 2 actuators and same problem, I opened the old one to see what was the problem and after studying the actuator, I saw that the contact pins on the black gear would barely get out of the contact board making the problem of not opening or closing. I rolled up small rags to zip tie them to the plastic rail on the blower motor where the vent door rest, set the actuator to the middle, installed everything back and works like new. (The rags stop the inlet door from fully opening so that the pins stay on the contact board)

Perfect video!! Mine had a horrible rat smell! Turns out they nested up under the windshield air intake. Had to remove the plastic grille and got a water hose in there to get everything out of there. A little water made it in the cab, luckily rubber floor mats caught the piss water. I soaked the evap coil and intake ducts with green clean and will get after it tomorrow again. That’s what happens when you let your truck sit I guess!!

This comment has nothing to do with your current video, so I apologize in advance. But I was curious if you could help me with how you converted your kids sehomy tractor to a 18v battery? Thanks!
@Zacpactv6 күн бұрын
No problem, you have to splice into the bigger red and black wire to make this work. I recommend using a knock off battery to the brand of adapter you install. The drills that these batteries come in have a resistor that keep batteries from being drained to 0%. So using your good batteries is not a good idea unless you an aftermarket protector. I would recommend watching a conversion video on youtube. The easiest way is to hard wire without a low voltage cut out. I would also wire an inline fuse to protect from a short which can cause a fire!

Use a dash cover. A guy that collects vintage trucks, told me to use a use a cloth soaked with transmission fluid and put onto the entire dash plastic twice a year. it does not need to be dripping wet, but apply it so it has a sheen to the dash. He had cars from the 50's that the plastic dash looked new because he did this to them. I do this twice a year, but wash down the dash first with soap and water, when it dries, then do this application.
@ZacpactvАй бұрын
I may try that! Transmission fluid is very absorbent.

@@Zacpactv Yes and I agree with you. It's simply that I was looking for the minor specifics. I own a gravely 36 inch proWalk. And I am now looking at a zero turn. Any recommendations? One suggestion You might consider is to read the specification sheets on Each machine and then shoot your video as you walk around the machine pointing out the differences. There's nothing wrong with Having the specification sheet printed off in your hand as you go around the machine and point it out. It's called a presentation aid. After all we have an eighty year old president that can't even talk in front of his own press conferences without being directed and having aid sheets written down. So If the president can do it so can you!!! 😁 Take care and keep working on those videos!
