First fill disassembly video I found as most videos were basic field strip. Only suggestion I have is maybe having another camera for close ups, or bring the smaller assembly parts closer to the camera. Good video. Thanks

I have the same one, it randomly just stopped working. When I pull the trigger I get a slight click but the hammer seems to not be dropping. I just have no idea what could be wrong, I’ve taken the entire back part of the gun apart and there seems to be no issues there. Best I can figure is maybe something is magically stopping the hammer from falling? Or the trigger is broken somehow? But there seems to be no evidence of anything actually being broken so I’m at a loss.

Can you believe that someone thought all of this up, some machinist made the parts, and someone figured out how to assemble it! That was before CNC machinery, cad, and investment casting. Point is; appreciate your model 36.

I have a 1929 16 Gauge A5, and most of the lock screw heads are stripped; so unfortunately, I'll have to tap and die them to get them out. Thankfully, I can get a whole set of lock screws for $25 online. Aside from that (and black gunk and junk ALL OVER the internals), take down and cleaning has been a pinch. So thanks for your in depth instruction, it really helped!
@UndertheGun

Dont have to tap. Drill a small hole in the center, then hammer in a small torx bit. use that to remove them. I would not do that with a hand drill

I received this gun 22 years ago after my father died. It was constantly jamming as it had never been cleaned since he'd bought it despite thousands of rounds, possibly tens of thousands going through it. I can't fire it more than 2x without it jamming, so this is exactly the walkthrough I needed. Thanks for sharing your knowledge!!!!

Because when this and other guns like pistols were first on the market, they did not have to be manually operated. Hence automatic, or auto loading. these terms are interchangeable in this industry.

Thank you for making this video. I just bought my GP100 last night. Haven’t fired it yet. I do see the gap between the trigger guard and the frame, very noticeable. Should I take it back and ask for help to get it more snug? Maybe the inside wasn’t cleaned out and erroneous manufacturing metal pieces keeping it from closing the gap? Thank you

I know this is an old video, But I picked up a SUB 2000 Gen 2 .40 on sale online, and didn't realize they did a "Multi-Mag" version. The multi mag takes (with the correct mag release) like 25 different hand gun mags, except Glock. I wanted this to go with the surplus of G22 mags I had from my duty gun. Long story short, you can "currently as of 02-26-2024" order the glock grip and mag release and swap everything over. Kel-Tec wanted me to ship it to them, buy the parts, pay labor cost, and pay to ship it back, and they were going to keep my multi mag parts set up for the M&P w/ 1 M&P mag. I was like naw send me the parts I'll figure it out. Your video was get for that. Thank You.
