Ok, then what does it also say about someone who always stops and grabs at least 1 cart on his way into a store and returns it? And this person even does it with the big construction carts @ Home Depots.

Vertical vs horz accountability It’s not about writing the standards down it’s about holding each other accountable You’re communicating something. Selfless.. pushing the person who gets more minutes eating with your superior Making a seniors job harder is an act of selfishness Selfishness is natural Being in the present moment is toughness **how can u drill that? Here and now build up what environment conduses that? You make the choice to work hard and not give effort Accept and process feedback Index card exercise Sense of ownership “your program” “A my turn shot” “Be like anyone” “Someone’s always watching” “Understable vs acceptable”

So it's unreasonable to the business owner to pay more for an employee who's going "above and beyond" the terms agreed in the contract? Does that mean that as a customer, I should expect the business to provide me goods and services "above and beyond" what the payment we agreed to without me paying extra for it?

I stumbled on this and can respect it. I work for dozens of bosses that made it clear if I dropped dead at 11:05 by 11:15 my position would be posted and by the next day they could find someone to do my job for half my pay.

This is why Geno's teams on the women's side have been so successful for the last thirty years, with 11 titles and 23 Final Four appearances. "UConn Basketball Capital Of The World" period!

Minimum work = minimum results (pay) and less future opportunity. Treating employees like a number or taking them for granted will result in less efficiency and apathy toward the company.

Interesting, but not surprising he didn't define quiet quitting. Here I'll do it: "Quiet quitting refers to doing the minimum requirements of one’s job and putting in no more time, effort, or enthusiasm than absolutely necessary." What's wrong with that? Here are examples defined: "Quiet quitters continue to fulfill their primary responsibilities, but they’re less willing to engage in activities known as citizenship behaviors: no more staying late, showing up early, or attending non-mandatory meetings.” You want employees to do more...... Pay more. It's not that difficult or a relationship problem. Not a surprise he doesn't address this.

Quiet quitting is the result of poor leadership, poor payments and shitty jobs and sometimes all the three combined.

Kobe, Steph, Luka and a few more elite NBA players exemplify the Japanese philosophy of Shuhari. They are so fundamentally sound thar their mastery over the basics allows them to pull out something incredible when thebmoment calls for it.
