Why not capacitive buttons? I always felt it was a glass panel in the series as it never seemed like they had to put pressure on the button to activate it.

Good old membrane keypad would work too but that needs manufacturing of the keypad part. PCB with capacitive button features is easy to make.

The tool case is original from the show. I was lucky to buy one from ebay. A did build the most ader props self. the parts are also from ebay, but you can not buy them anymore.

How did you make the doors?

The door panels are from wood. I did use a 12v motor. A 4 contact switch relay for to open and close the door.Two pressure contact buttons for stopping the door.The panels are hook-up on a cable that the motor moves.If you want to now more let me now.
