I had never been to the Flinders Ranges until this year & loved it, such a beautiful place. I had the Feral plate for lunch at the Prarie Hotel and the beer brewed on-site was excellent. Although I think you should be sponsored by Coopers 😉.

Excellent video, 2011 I did that trip and you went and stayed pretty much the same places. I was lucky though and no tyre issues.

I remember my boys complaining about getting up to watch the sunrise there as clear as a bell & that was 20 years ago 😢. Really brought back good memories this one so thanks ❤

I am sad you are selling the Troopy but life goes on. I have enjoyed your videos and bought a ‘set’ of your T shirts and they are very comfortable. I hope the wedding goes well and you are lucky to live is SA as having spent a month travelling there early this year I think it is underrated

That one is ‘Sandy Creek’ on wiki camps, it’s right near the access road to Kalgan Pool. Amazing spot, the pups will love it!

@@osomaus how good- not sure if you remember but we had a yarn about it in the carpark of Emma gorge. I’d say finke gorge NP is one of those less traveled places that’s an amazing spot that most people skip

I dont know... I think Windabandi Bay (at ningaloo station) is the best one in the station 🤨 if you can try book that bay for your next stay at ningaloo i highly recommend it. Although you cant really complain every bay up north is STUNNING! enjoy the coral coast.

I just was at francois peron couple of weeks back as well and saw lots of others get stuck, too… It’s a really weird combination of boggy and corrugated there right now especially around the Greggories 😂 I drive a very similiar setup to you guys and I found that second or third gear low range and driving at around 30 km/h was the way to go (slow enough for the corrugations, but thanks to the low range torque still enough momentum to not get bogged).

I'm a month out from my Mulgo install. Thanks for re-confirming my feelings regarding the product. I know some people knock it but I agree with your points. It's Aussie made and engineered in Australia. For a big ticket item that modifies the structure of the vehicle you can't go wrong. I think Daniel @ Expedition Centre has done a great job and I look forward to installing it, with the many adventures to come as you guys have. Safe travels :)

Hey James, our brackets are from expedition centre, same bloke who did our roof conversion. They are troopy specific for the 270 awnings. I believe he has other options available, best to contact him though.
