Teenagers today are heartless. They don't give a damn what parents go through but keep nagging for more. How can a parent earning under usd$125 give a new phone every year to this brat.

So funny. My brother and I were never insolent as teens. We knew better than to test our parents who made it clear they were our parents not friends or challenge teachers. Oh have times changed.

@@LordOfLight number one my parents are dead. They were old fashions parents born in 1927 and 1931. My brother and I were born mid to late 50’s. Parents were a lot different than the weakling parents of today that let their Millennial and Gen Z kids rule the roost and live to please their kids. Mine weren’t that. Number two I could care less whether you believe me or not.

@@lisanidog8178First: alive or dead....sigh..........IF THEY COULD SPEAK they would definitely give a different story. Second: I was born in 1953. I well remember the older generation telling my generation how awful we were and how much better things were in THEIR day. Nothing changes. Third: yes, you care so little about my opinion you took the trouble to write a comment telling me how little you care. Apparently your advanced years haven't yet taught you the importance of telling the truth. But I expect all that goodness and purity of yours evaporated at some point.

@@LordOfLight who are you to arrogantly decide what my parents would’ve said. My parents were who they were. You weren’t raised by my parents. My parents and grandparents never spoke about things like yours did. If I ever had any questions about when my parents were kids I had to ask. I only asked mom. She only said that she remembered vegetable people calling from the street to sell. Dad only mentioned his dog Satchow kept in the garage and that he had records he collected as a kid in the Big Band era. My great parents were long dead by the time my brother and I were born in ‘56 and ‘59. If the older generation said how awful we were and how things were better in their day, none of that was ever talked about by my parents, grandparents. I do know that my paternal grandfather born in 1899 was forced to drop out of the fifth grade to work. I can’t remember why dad mentioned it. I know nothing about mom’s dad’s childhood who was born in 1900 or what things were like when her mom was born in 1904. I had to ask mom where in Europe her line came from. Didn’t ask dad until I needed to know for an 8th grade report. Neither was volunteered without being asked. I suppose the older generation on your side were better in their day. Much less complicated I assume. My parents were kids during the Depression. That’s all they said. I’m sure their parents never complained just slogged along the best they could. I suppose my paternal grandpa was lucky to be hired as a carpet salesman with only a fifth grade education. Kids today aren’t forced to drop out and not finish grade school. I found by accident mom’s dad’s eye disease books as he was an optometrist and the books were from the 19th century with old pictures. Not everyone has relatives and older generation that bellyached like yours so stop assuming everyone does.

Cave teens didn't have the "luxury" of being cunts, that was a byproduct of settling down and making a society. Spear sharpening, however, has probably been a staple since the evolution of puberty.
