Great interview! It's great to hear about what's going on behind the scenes with the club. It's been a very exciting season so far and a nice W in the Summer Cup. I agree that Andi is very classy and respectful in her responses while still answering some of the tougher questions and getting us some good info. Hopefully we get to see more of these interviews. Keep up the good work.😁👋

I realize this may be a bit of a stretch but as a Washington Spirit fan I’ve seen Hal play a lot. She might be the second coming of USWNT great Julie Ertz.

👋😁 Heads up that there's a delay on the audio so it sounds like you're talking over each other. I think one of the mic tracks needs to be delayed by like 5-10 seconds. I refused to watch the last DC United game but have been watching the Spirit - such an exciting team.

Great interview and thoughtful questions! A bit of constructive feedback about a very common habit: I noticed that when you ask a question, you tend to keep going afterwards, sometimes even saying what you expect the answer to be. It feels to me like maybe there’s a discomfort with silence, probably stemming from a place of wanting people to feel comfortable! I’d encourage you to experiment with asking the questions and letting there be a pause after, without going into further detail. My guess is that the players will benefit from having more space to think and begin their response wherever makes sense to them, rather than having to cut you off or begin by responding to your comment! I’m sure you’ll still be able to tell if and when someone is floundering and throw them a line as needed :)

stumbled across a college soccer game last year, think it was a college cup match. watched it a bit and one player stood out immediately, Hal. i dont watch college soccer so have zero idea about the rookies coming into the NWSL for the most part. its been really fun watching Hal play this season, really like her game. happy shes getting the nod for the NT. enjoyed hearing from her. gl Hal.

I have watched a few Spirit games this year and there are two reasons the team is one point out of second place and four points out of first place: Hershfelt and Bethune. They have been huge for the Spirit. And the new folks at US Soccer have obviously noticed their inspired play in this tough league. I am not sure the old regime would have chosen these two up and coming talents. Best of all, these two kids have only scratched the surface of their true potential. The future looks promising. I just hope the USWNT fans are patient as Emma Hayes and her coaches develop these kids.

There’s no question to me that he would love the investment from the Saudis. There’s no other reason why they go over there during the preseason. He’s setting this up to happen in the near future.

This is a fine signing if we address the center of defense and the weakness down the flanks. I’m sure we won’t, however.

Yaaaay! Tara Mc-Queue-an!! For the past coupla years, I've always wondered _why_ this wonderful NWSL player was the ONLY one that nwslsoccer commentators called out by her FULL NAME? 'Dunn - cuts the ball back to _Mickey Owen.'_ Why just her? Why do the commentators call out 'Sanchez', 'Rodman', 'Kingsbury' and NOT _'Ashley_ Sanchez', _'Trinity_ Rodman' and _'Aubrey_ Kingsbury', but they ALWAYS call out _'Mickey_ Owen. Why was 'Mickey Owen' THE only player _full-named_ each time. So, many thanks, RFK Refugees, you've confirmed that it's rather that the commentators just can't pronounce 'McKEOWN'. Good job!

I live near Baltimore city and they should not have a soccer stadium for a potential team. It’s a nightmare walking through there. Best to have it either in Baltimore county or any where else just not in the city.

Holland took Blind off because he has collapsed and a heartscare last year and was a teammate of Ericksen so he was emotionally drained. Not a fan of De Boer but he did the right thing there subbing him.

@@RFKRefugees No worries. Like your show, as a Beerschot fan nice to be able to follow our hero Losada on his usa adventures. And nice to see you guys are also giving the women's team its deserved attention.
Totally agree with you guys on Flores, the other main podcast I wonder sometimes if they watch the same games. He's not a 'main man' type of player, he's a good complimentary player with good close control dribbling and good crosses. People saw the $5mil DP and thought this guy would be like Rooney and dominate the team but that's not the type of player he is, he's not going to carry the team on his back. It's unfortunate that that's perception but it comes with the territory and I get that. I've posted before, he's not a starter on the Peruvian national team for nothing. I'm assuming Losada knows this, likes what he sees in practice, and he won't be at the end of the bench anytime soon, much the chagrin of people who criticize Flores. I re-watched the SJ game just to pay attention to players, and man Asad was reeaaallly off save for his cross to Gressel from midfield to the right side. He misjudged like five passes to Flores, whether it was in front of him or behind him. No wonder Losada took him off at the half. I wonder if Sorga might be better off as a mid somewhere, either a winger or left/right. His dribbling isn't too bad.

Great DCU talk show. I find it disgraceful that Olsen has essentially relegated Higuain to a no-role position on the team. If anyone can help guide the team on the field, it's him. Play him for 45 if he can't go for more...but jeeez, no playing time in the recent games. Disgraceful treatment of a league legend. No wonder his brother is being linked to Miami now and not United.
