No, you shouldn't slide continuously. The wire may get damaged. (I am sliding very lightly on the wire by mistake due to recording urgency)

@@manikandaninstituteofphysics The ray is not converged when it is passing through the concave lens. It looks like the ray is travelling via concave lens without any deviation (Straight ray).

Since it is a continuation of the first diagram, I need not to show the convergence explicitly. The image produced by the convex Lens is acts as a object for the concave Lens. My intention is to explain this fact alone. Thanks

Under forward bias, current will reduce, but in the reverse bias, nothing will happen since under reverse bias pn Junction won't conduct.
