Yes, same experience with IT support. Sometimes it seems to me they try to search the answer on the internet, and even if they don't they still consider the request solved. My problem was not solved, so when they asked about the feedback about satisfaction I answer basically that my request was not solved and that all these communication was a wasting of time on both sides. ...cca 2 weeks later the request was fulfilled according my desceiption... Thats what happens, when IT is "benefited"/"payed" by number of "closed" tickets (whether they are solved or not)...sad, but truth 😔

I'm having flashbacks to my days as a teacher, having to attend (and, egads, participate) in those gawdawful workshops that were 100% edubabble. They fed my nightmares later in life. Expert: Ok, so just to clarify, you want me to draw seven perpendicular lines in red with green colour? Idiot: Yes Expert: Ok, drawing red lines with green colour might be possible but i'm gonna have to research that (thinking about a colour that is green when liquid but turns red when dry or something along these lines). Estimated R&D cost maybe something along the lines of 5.000.000$ and it will probbaly take a couple months. For the seven perpendicular lines i'm gonna have to delve into non-euclidian geometry and so far nobody has done that succesfully and it is generelly considered impossible but i'm willing to try. Estimated R&D cost 5.000.000.000$ per year and i can't estimate how long it will take because i'd have ot break entirely new ground. Also, if the available literature on non-euclidian geometry can be trusted those seven perpendicular lines might open a portal to some kind of hell dimension but the chances for that happening should be very slim. Idiot: Maybe it's enough for the lines to be just red and the seven lines might not need to be perpendicular.
