That is what we estimated our spending for 1 day in the parks to be. You can tweak those numbers based on how much you estimate to spend yourself.

Nice video! Our family has three seasonal passes and I have a preferred pass for the added meal savings. This keeps the total price lower and I buy the meals. Our drive is about 6.5 hours and we visit 4 times a year. The passes have definitely saved us a lot of money. We even purchased passes on a 12+3 month deal once!

We just recently renewed our passes on the same 12+3 deal. Makes them an even better deal! As our family grows I can see us using the same system of one pass for the discounts and cheaper passes to get everyone in the parks.

That’s awesome! You will have to let me know how useful you find the express pass after 4pm. That is the only thing I’m on the fence about with that pass. I want to make sure I get my money’s worth out of it.

Hello, thanks for the good data. Question, we live in Ky and plan to come 3-4x during our year. If we plan to stay on site and have to pay the hotel parking fees anyway, and we typically don’t buy a lot of Merch, would it make more sense savings wise just to get the power pass to have the fewer blackout dates? Also, if I get a preferred pass and get my family a lower tier, do I still get the parking perks, and discounts on food and Merch as long as I pay using my pass?

Thanks for watching the video! Based on what you said yes it might be more advantageous to get the power pass. And if you get the preferred pass and everyone else gets the power pass you can still get the perks involved with having the preferred pass you will just have to scan your pass when purchasing food or merchandise.

I went to Universal in early Feb. Being a New Orleans native, I went to that booth and had the crawfish etouffee. It was awesome. Great job on your video.

We love Portofino! We end up at Sapphire Falls more times than not though. We think it’s a great mix of luxury and affordability.
