I looked through all of them, but I have tons of craft supplies including fabric, so I’m always cognizant of what I buy. I have a tendency to buy too much and then my cabinets are overflowing. It can be a bit of a problem if I don’t rein it in. I only have so much storage space. Lol. But yes, I wanted to buy more. Definitely. Lol

The pitcher and bowl looked like ceramic hobbyist pieces to me. Done with an oil slick/oil spill paint finish. They were cute!

I liked the iridescent finish on them, but wasn’t sure if they were vintage or not. My mom has a few vintage pieces similar to them, but they have a more coppery tone. I love the continual learning process of thrifting. So much fun! ❤️

@@TandEHomeThey likely are vintage. The whole ceramics class thing was popular until the 90s-ish when it kind of died off. It has made a comeback though! I'd guess probably 70s/80s on those with that finish. The best part of thrifting is learning about the cool things you find!

You’re so right! VV is so up and down with prices, mostly high, but I occasionally find a great deal there. We have a MCC Thrift Store in Saskatoon that has really great prices, and their items seem to be curated more than a regular thrift shop. That’s my fav place to thrift in Saskatchewan. Great selection of furniture too.

I agree, that would be a cool project. I hate when I think of a project I could do after I’m home from thrifting. I often have regrets when I’m editing the footage, wishing I would’ve bought something I didn’t. Does that ever happen to you?

It’s amazing the deals you can find while thrifting. I usually find the prices cheaper for wood pieces than the hardware or the dollar store. It’s great if you like to repurpose and craft.
