The government must only focus on Primary Health both Urban and rural, secondary to some extent and as far as tertiary care is concerned there is no point opening more AIIMS or for that that matter no point opening more DM or McH Medical seats as well. Many Super specialists after passing DM or McH are not able to get patients or practice and earn well . Many DM and McH seats have gone vacant, Last year 2023 as many as 800 DM and McH seats no one picked in private as well as Government seats this shows the demand in market (paying patient not free wala in Government Hospital) is not there , Public finds it difficult to afford DM and McH doctors or in a wider canvas public cannot afford high level treatment, Indian public funds it hard to afford even the primary healthcare (meaning 140 crore public)

Just want to point out this was merely a small secondary wave, the main wave had already hit
