Drafting Clingan made no sense. The Blazers already have 2 better centers with more upside. Both centers have also anchored teams that have been to the NBA finals. Blazers should have drafted Cody Williams.

10:36 10:39 me either. Jeremy Grant @ the 4 is horrible, mainly BC he's a terrible rebounder that runs from contact.

You recorded the episode only after he first half, but it was pleasure to see how he closed the game with that bounce pass, then a clutch block, then forcing the inbound turnover that get the win. Hope he’ll keep taking 3’s! That’s really important that he’ll keep defences honest.

Great show tonight fellas! Keep up the good work.🫡 Been a fan from day 1. U guys bring a fresh perspective that I enjoy. As for our beloved Blazers are concerned, I'm hoping Cling Kong will work on keeping good positioning for rebounds after going for a blocked shot. He missed a few boards that could've & should've been his. His passing is deft. Defense is outstanding already but needs sharpening. I believe our future at Center is good. No matter what, I think Scoot should've played in this Summer League. Podzenski, Cam Whitmore Jamie Jaquez to name a few all showed up to play Summer League.. where's Scoot?🧐🔎 Go#TrailBlazers🤍🖤❤️

Justin Minaya might be the worst player in the NBA. He played 34 games, shot 28% FG, averaged 1pt & 1reb. Cronin & Billups gave Minaya a new contract. This "sustainable build" is looking like a sustainable rebuild.

I do have hope that at least one of: Camara, Murray, or Rupert will become a legit starting caliber player. Adding another wing in the draft would make it hard for any of those young three players to develop.

well i think hes more suited as a PF, and the way the league is moving with 7'4" C next to a 7'0" PF, might fit well next to Clingan if they work out. Ayton is probably the best mid range shooter among C. if he stretch a bit and get some decent 3point percentage they will be great fit imo. to become a contender need to be able to match small and tall lineups, be great defensively and able to outscore any team.
@gregmock6808

Clingan is probably the best coached player we've drafted out of college. He's way ahead of the mental curve already. Deni was a steal...he was the ninth pick in his draft
@CarloBarlo69
@CarloBarlo69 23 күн бұрын
I’m high on Clingan, and I think he’s got a lot of great intangibles. But I do feel like his ceiling is lower than most people think. I wouldn’t be surprised if he never shoots. Maybe he never gets any quicker mobility wise. Regardless, for a #7 pick in a weak weak class, it’s still good value and he’s likely going to be a solid starter.

So called Blazers fan like these are the most stupid. Simons is our best offensive player and shooter but want to trade him? Doesn't fit our timeline? Same age as Ayton and bridges the gap between Grant and Scoot/Sharpe. Also trading Ant would result with even worse ball than we have been seeing. Putting the ball in the hands of Mr Turnover, Scoot Henderson will be a disaster in the short term. Less fans will be want to watch if you swap offense for defense as well.

I personally have wanted to see Ant gone two seasons ago. Each year, he's needed to go more and more. Now especially he HAS to go. Too expensive, not on the timeline, is stuck where he's been for the last couple seasons with no real improvements anywhere in his game, he's a bad playmaker, even in a pinch, undersize extremely streaky shooter who plays exclusively heroball/isoball, forces a lot of shots, incapable and incompetent defensively bundled with his lack of effort and giving a damn on that end, and of course he is a horrible leader given he is borderline non-vocal, meaning he has to be a leader by example, which he's somehow even worse as. The example he sets game in and game out is horrific for young guys to model after and follow. Constant complaining, pouting, little or no effort defensively, temper tantrums, sitting or laying down on the floor as if he got clobbered by a truck when it was normal, minimal basketball contact (which he does specifically when he doesn't get calls he wants on the offensive end), where he proceeds to just stay there for a entire defensive possession at a time, etc. Everything about him on this team is horrible as a fit. So yeah... he's gotta go. And this shows there are some Blazers fans who defy the usual, and "underrate" Ant. Almost all Blazers fans egregiously overrate and overvalue him, like they did with CJ. So much so that almost universally people who point these facts out about him are automatically hated on for it because we're "so incredibly wrong and clearly don't know basketball". That's the thing with this fan base - it's a dead split down the middle these days between what I'd call delusional fans, and realistic fans, obviously with the latter including people like myself. Feels so much like it's a second Lakers fan base these days, and it sucks.

all terrible trades. Anf isnt going anywhere, he is just a year younger than Murray who we drafted last year. Still hasnt reached his prime yet. those 2 2nds are in the 20s and not good at all. Portland should trade Brogdon, Thybulle Timelord and Grant 1st so we complete the rebuild. if Anf meant to be traded, should have been done while Dame was in Portland and keep Hart. Potentially could have get Isaac and some 1st.

if they sit their veterans for half the season again. Chauncey is going to play veterans as much as possible, development of youth be damned, because he wants to win and redeem his pitiful record. The front office needs to remove that temptation from his control so they don't end up sitting Simons, Grant, and whoever else is left yet again.
