Which one has a shorter finger compartment? The Venum Hammer or Fairtex BGL6?
@fiestastboost5788

@@kortex628 The BGL6 16oz and Hammer velcro 16oz are about the same finger length both a bit shorter in the fingers for a 16oz glove than most. If you have small hands/palms the hammers are a smaller fit, will fit more snug for sure wheras the BGL6 will let you open fingers easier.

@@fiestastboost5788 awesome, thanks for the response. If I’ve already got the Hammers for padwork & bagwork, are the BGL6s not worth it for the same training purposes?

Lace converter is made by a company called Warfare. Not much info online about the company looks like from Australia. Bought their lace convers once, liked them so use moslty them now.

do you think the lace converter velcro could come loose when you're fighting in the clinch?

Would 10oz bgl 6 be more on the protective side or more on the puncher's side?
@fiestastboost5788
@fiestastboost5788 Ай бұрын
I havn't tried them in 10oz to be honest. I have felt some fairtex 12oz models that have had stiffer foam than their 16oz models increasing protectiveness. Because I havn't tried them I cant confirm for BGL6 if they are stiffer more protective or softer more of a punchers glove.

compared to the fairtex bgv6, which one is kinder/safer/friendlier to your sparring partner? i love the wrist support of the fairtex bgv9 but I'm not using it to sparring unless it's "that infamous guy" or an arrogant dojo stormer. :) thanks in adv

No problems. Great question. I havnt used the bgv6. If i was to compare bgl6 16oz, the bgv5 14oz is a bit firmer foam than bgl6 but, also has a slight bit more foam over the front two knuckles so i would have to say bgv5 and in 16oz definitely bgv5. Bgv5 wrist support is a bit better outwards than bgl6 but not as good as bgv9.

which do you recommend for sparring? I’m 173cm 55kg
@fiestastboost5788
@fiestastboost5788 2 ай бұрын
For your height and weight sparring probably the BGV5. BGL6 is a bigger glove has a super long cuff and roomier hand compartment than BGV5. Im 182cm and BGL6 is one of the longest cuff gloves i have. Its long on my arms but i like long cuffs so doesnt bother me, on yours it would fit longer.

Great review. I own the Bgl7s in red and everything you said about that glove is correct. It takes a while to really break in, and the wrist support is 10 out of 10.

i rotate rival rb50 / venum hammer / mk1 select / boon lace / fairtex bgl7. I feel bgl7 is the best bag gloves for my medium hands at this price range, but you've peaked my interest with BGL6 breakdown. thank you

Nice rotation 👍 All fairtex gloves that I've used have been hard to beat for the price. Love BGL7 on the bag also hard to beat. Full review of BGL6 will come soon 😁
