Thanks a lot, it solved my problem ! No more noise !!

You're a lifesaver! The squeaking was so bad, but this fixed it instantly! Can't comment on the longevity of the solution, but I hope it lasts for a bit and will repeat the steps as needed.

Worked like a charm! Was struggling with the constant noise. Removed the plastic cover. Used non-silicon WD-40 targeting only places shown on the video. Thank you @spambryan17 🫶

Works! Another satisfied customer! Only thing I would add is i didnt need to remove the plastic cover completely to get to the plastic to spray.

You're a lifesaver, this worked like a charm. Thought it was the spring at first so I lubed that, but it didn't fix it. Lubed those 2 hinge points with the silicone WD40 and the creaking and squeaking are completely gone.

Thanks! I watched a "pro" video first and all their suggestions failed. Glad I found your explanation of how to address the issue. I'm squeak free for the first time in many months!

I have been trying to solve this issue for a few years now. I also saw the reddit post containing the first fix, and it never worked for me :( But the second set of bolts that you spray near the end did the trick. Thanks for sharing! I can feel my sanity returning...

Thanks my man! This was years ago. Im out of the game for a while now and totally forgot the names of the plant lol. My favorite is the Hydrocotyle tripartita which is in the middle between the driftwood. Its so easy to grow and doesn't require much and it creeps in the tank beautifully. I got some anubias nana petite in the drift wood in the right.

GREAT TANK MAN, I WOULDNT CALL IT OVERSTOCK THOUGH, ITS A FOOLISH EXAGGERATION THE 20 GALLONS FOR THE FIRST AND THEN 10 GALLONS FOR EVERY OTHER FISH, IF YOU HAVE GOOD FILTERING AND WATER CHANGES FREQUENTLY LIKE EVRY 4 DAYS 40 PERCENT THEY WILL THRIVE.
