It also helps you determine what to act on. Red Flag or Near Miss? File it away. Trauma? Do something. Thanks for your comment!

I know it's irrelevantly trivial, but the D10 isn't a Platonic solid. Probably why I find it so unsatisfying to roll. ;-)

My man, thank you so so much for this. I'm a pastor who's been reflecting on how to better cross the percieved theological divide between gaming and church world, trying to bring these elements of Jesus in. Phenomenonal presentation! Thanks for your perspective. As one growing up in the 80s, playing D&D and accepting Christ around the same timeframe ('84), I can remember the stigma and judgement of the time. The most impactful point for me involved 'mechanics', i.e. "dice" and "spellcasting". I'm so thankful God directed this across my feed!
