When you unscrew the shift rod linkage, did you have to take out the screw on the side and the small bolt on the top to make the lower drop out? I'm having an issue with my lower dropping like it's still connected to something. Thanks in advance

After you have the gasket and the plate down use the o ring to hold the key on the shaft. Then slide the impeller all the way down lining up the key and the impeller .. with the impeller all the way down slide the housing over the impeller while turning the shaft you’ll see the impeller suck into the housing then line up all the bolt holes with the housing , the plate and the gasket… don’t worry about the orientation of the veins on the impeller… as soon as you crank the motor it will self correct to the correct position

Thanks for sharing. I have around 10 various Bauer tools now, and I've been extremely impressed with them all. For me, it all started with the 1/4" impact driver. Now I need to add the pole saw to my lineup. Lol

yeahh of course mine has the timing wheel "encoder" stuck and no way to take it out to replace sensor....thanks for sharing I might have to break it and order new one😵‍💫

I've had the exact same problem with my van same van I'm working on it in the parking lot at work

Mine popped apart and 'adapter' popped off instead of open ! Simply the best J Hook type arm . BOSH SUCKS Talk about worst made in China crap . Hand covered in factory black dirt ! A three minute job turned into a hour of fighting ! $20 made in China garbage hope the bits of plastic that snapped off closing the adapter makes no difference !

You can take that black rubber hose and put it in hot water for a few minutes it will go on easy and you wont need lube
