I'm afraid its just a case of lots of masking. Spray the light grey first then mask over that.

You put in a lot of effort into the colour scheme. Really striking.👍 You made a mistake with the main landing gear. You swapped the legs. The wheels should be on the outside of the legs, not on the inside.

That vacuum formed canopy is the biggest letdown of this kit... Otherwise not bad if you consider that it has no (real) competition. (Apparently there is available now an injected canopy by Isradecal.)

very nice model! beautiful scheme. I have a question, I'm about to use the same decal set as you used from Model Maker. But I just noticed the underside star and part that goes between the landing gear is one big decal. Did you actually cut that decal up to fit? Cause unless I am missing something the side tips of the star need to be cut off, then cut behind the front wheel door and then 2 more cuts for the back wheel doors... if that is the case I think I'm gonna wait with this set. (I dont have a lot of experience with intricate decals and I think I'm going to mangle them!)

Hiya. Indeed you will have to do a couple of cuts. It is a case of offer the decal up and roughy guess where you think it will be if that helps at all
