I am booked on that same cruise (Carnival Miracle) that you took out of SF. I am doing that excursion for Sunday, Sept 1. Cost was $229.99. I booked it right away and felt that if I did no other excursion I wanted to do this one. Looking forward to it. Don H Ocala Fl

My husband and I will be boarding this ship July 4th. Going to Freeport and Bimini. Never been to Bimini so we are extra excited for that. We want to see Bimini Rd but having a hard time figuring out how to do that without spending $400 for a special tour.

Yes! Half the time I forget to hang the sign on other cruise lines but very convenient and a good reminder right near the lights and thermostat.

I’m glad cruise lines are going away from the shower curtain. I did buy magnets for the bottom of the shower curtains if cruise ships end up having one.

Ah that’s a good idea, I like these compared to the curtain as well but I would imagine the tight space could be difficult for some since you can’t really create more space.

so we haven't been on the Legend since 2012 but i can say we were just on the Pride and Miracle in last year or so and the food was very good on those ships which are sister ships to the Legend. I think overall it has a ton of options that even if you don't like something you will find something you do like. Try not to worry and have a great cruise!

What a good time and to be away for 30 days is amazing! Where in NJ are you from? I'm from the Shore (Bayville/ocean county). That is so interesting to hear about the Venezia and how hot it was without much air flow. I'm headed on the Venezia, a short girls cruise to Bermuda in August. Eek! That will be hot! NY is the third closest port for us (Norfolk and Baltimore are the closest) so we thought we'd try it without the kids first to learn how to navigate the train from Northern VA to port.

I'm originally from Bergen County (North Jersey) but moved when i was 18 and joined the military. I still have lots of family up that way but they tend to come visit us down south. Don't worry too much about it being hot you will still have a fantastic time especially with no kids haha :) I wonder if my brother will be on that cruise with you because he is taking his family to Bermuda in August on the Venezia as well. I think it's a 5 day.

@funnelheads oh fun! We are on the aug 27th sailing. It is a 4 day sailing so short, but for our first trip from the kids, it felt realistic :) we will focus in having a cold drink in our hands and not the heat lol

Have a terrific cruise, this ship is limited on food venues but has a ton of options. Even if you don't like one thing you will find so much more that you will enjoy!

We loved listening to all of the different styles of music throughout the ship. The trip into Brooklyn was easy on a Sunday, I felt bad for my brother though who wanted to drive us to the port.

Great video! We love MSC! Have been sailing with them since 2016. Had our honeymoon on Divina! Love that ship! Fun fact, Mrs. Aponte has a huge hand in designing the ships and she finds urinals to be a vulgar thing. So, on Divina she managed to keep them off of the ship. But, her hand is all over the gorgeous ships in the fleet. Cheers!

@@funnelheads welcome! Yep, Mr. Aponte was a tug boat captain. Mrs Aponte encouraged him to get into shipping. So, with a 200,000 loan in 1970 they bought their first cargo ship. Later on they launched the cruise line. Recently they launched their air cargo company. They are the #1 shipping company in the world. Have the fastest growing cruise line. And, are worth 35 billion dollars together. Incredible couple!

Great job as usual Andrew. We cruised on Divina right after you on a Transatlantic. One thing you forgot to mention was the future cruises desk. We booked our next cruise on Divina for January 2025. We got $150 ship credit and $100 per person deposit.

Yes, however we did it before the pandemic before we reached diamond with Carnival so we are not quite at the top level yet on MSC. I think next MSC cruise we will be however. Awesome program, we wish more cruise lines would do this.

We have been on a good amount but just started to sail on MSC last year. Out of the 3 we liked the Meraviglia the best so far. Gorgeous ship, overall the food was better than the other 2, crew was way more friendly, and just had a great time. We are looking forward to the World America next April!
