Faulty sensors are a given. Will end up overfilling your sump with RO water. Red Sea get it sorted.

Good job with the build but from a tradesman standpoint, in terms of unions, the flow hits the back of the nut. I see quite a few unions backwards.

Great video! Just a quick question, how to calculate the salt? And what happens with the leftovers? They can affect next mixing as there will be salty water already in

Wow. That's an exceptional system! Love the aquascape. I am curious to see how the flow will be handled. The branching alveopora was such a stunner. A bit LPS heavy for my taste, but I totally understand the choice to go that direction for a maintenance client.

One of your previous videos you mentioned ideas for videos. How about a video series with a standalone tank on how to build with all the bells and whistles setting up one piece of equipment at a time. Especially for your unboxing review series. /doesn't have to be a large tank. Could be a good way to get more subscribers. Your videos are fun and informative. Keep them coming. Great stuff!

Great video. Is it possible to take the time to show the proper installation without time lapse like the water mixing station video? Thank you for the informative video.

Thank you so much for doing this, I love how you walked through every step. I've been sitting with tanks for a few months but not doing it because I was afraid I'd screw it up. Question... I'm making this primarily for my reef tank, but my father wants to come get rodi water for his freshwater tank. How much salt "backwash" would you say would be in the line? Does that make sense? In my case would you just prime a couple cups out first before filling his jugs so he doesn't get any saltwater?
@Newwaveaquaria2k
@Newwaveaquaria2k 5 ай бұрын
You will definitely have a little bit of saltwater that you'll want to run off before sending him off with RODI water. I would say ruffly a half gallon of water should be enough to bleed the saltwater from the lines

Thank you for sharing this system. How much do you trust the Trident to trigger the Alk/Cal/Mag Dose pumps? I have found +/- varriations when I weekly test with Hanna testers.

and where is the quarantine system? Well, how do we add something new to an aquarium without keeping corals in quarantine for at least 30-40 days? What if we introduce any parasites or diseases into the aquarium? is it professional to do so? what a bad example to give.

36:40 You would connect a tube to this valve and pump water to your tank. In this video we used a female thread connector because our client will be using a python to fill. In most cases, we put a 3/4" or 1" male barb fitting so that you can connect the tubing of your choice

Hi, Great videos. I do have a question about Square back Anthias males, which I see you have added to a few tanks in your videos. I have a 3 year old male, with 1.5 year old female, 180 gallon mixed reef, but the male has after 2 years decided to be very aggressive toward my Solar Wrasse, dont know if you have any ideas on how to stop this. I feed 4 times a day, plenty of rock work, done the mirror trick, moved aqua scape around, took the male Anthias out for a week. Any ideas would be appreciated.

The system is amazing, but Im trying to comprehend the concept of the refugium in this system....if there is a need to dose for nitrates would it not be better to just run the protein skimmer for a certain time period so the nitrates build up enough for the Refugium to operate without the need to dose ?
@thesupercheerio
@thesupercheerio Жыл бұрын
Part of it is control. Typically what I've found is over time, the amount of nitrates that needs to be dosed goes down, sometimes to nothing. Rather does just enough and keep the nitrates right where I want them, vs guess and experiment on a clients tanks.
