just bought the game and the expansion pack at my LGS, they were demoing and we had alot of fun, cant wait to see more packs you all release for it. also need to check if I can get the mat for the game, they had one for the demo but none for sale.

Love the system, the dice mechanics, the status bar and the overall feel. One question, how do you tackle character drawbacks and flaws? For example, Superman's allergy to Kryptonite?

This makes getting to the fun factor much easier. I just bought this on Prime Day at a greatly discounted price. I am wishing I had bought the expansion now. I will eventually get it. 😍😍😍😍

3:55 it’s worth noting that the event and critical event villain cards which modify the way they play also have dates on them. A handy way of setting up both the timeline for the campaign mode as well as the pool of heroes you’d have available as time progresses.

Have gone through a couple superhero rpg's so far, but this one looks genuinely super promising! Might have to really look into this.

I love this spirit. It's focused on agression, but its passive gives it so many build options and he makes even some weaker cards useful.

Hands down literally my favorite game to run for my tables, and it's just as fun to run as it is to play. Incredibly flexible, highly thematic, and surprisingly resilient to player decisions, this system is one everyone should play.

At 2:50 it says "or make a new sacred site" and then shows a Wetland, despite discussing the growth option that only allows expansion into Mountains or Sands. Seems like a bit of an oversight. Love this video aside from that.

one of the best games out there, and the Definitive Edition just made it that much better!

I just got this game in the mail recently and we busted out the Definitive Edition to take it for a trial run. It would have been easier if we would have watched this video for the set up. 😊 However, for the most part, we did a majority correctly. It left us at the end wanting to play again (I am trying to set it up to play again today. (Hey… it’s Father’s Day. Consider it my present. 😁). Tempest, Unity, and Wraith took on Baron Blade and thwarted the sinister plan to pull the Moon into Earth! 🎇 Well…mostly. We forgot to turn his card over so ended the game prematurely. Live and learn. 😉 Now that I know what I know, we will start a campaign. I’ll also be dropping a video for some gameplay in a few months (schedule is three months out so a lot of content to make in the meantime between time.).
