Why do the Armenian Orthodox church have no missionary zeal ? Why are they not reaching native Burmese people ? While other Orthodox branches have missions in Southeast Asian countries like the Phillipines, Indonesia, Malaysia, Singapore ?

Good question and they should e.g. the Russian Orthodox church is expanding in SE Asia and making inroads among disgruntled Catholics but probably has some state funding to support missionary activities...

This is great for anyone with an interest in taoism and wants to see things in their natural environment. I cannot understand how they are able to enter trance so quickly, ir is difficulr to do, especially if you aee in the wrong mood. This is fascinating none the less,thank you.

What a pity. I had the privilege to stay there in 1987 and it was simply marvellous. I wish such beautiful buildings could be preserved or even restored.

@@johnu2192 we (fellow laowai) weren't allowed off the bus but I think it had already been restored.
