She was so damn great! Her version of "Until The Real Thing Comes Along" is my example of a real love song.

Maxine… She was amazing in so many ways; as you can hear, an amazing singer, songwriter, and fun person to be with. I was very fortunate to have played bass for her way back in the day… Ah yes; the Bla Bla Cafe! And we also did a very cool gig at “Ebbet’s Field”, a club in Denver, Colorado, with decor like the baseball park. We opened for Tom Waits! What a crazy and wonderful life I’ve had. R.I.P. Maxine…you were such a treasure...

Oh my god, this song has got to be one of the best harmony songs that i’ve ever heard. The lead vocals are just perfectly crafted. The backing vocals are fantastic! All the other aspects of this recording are top notch. The performance, the music , the orchestration arrangement, the sound engineering, the lyrics- all of these are masterfully combined into a final result that can easily be described as a masterpiece soft rock recording.

Great bottom/bass and BLOW Harmony! Reminiscent of Melvin Franklin (Temtations), Gerald Gregory (Spaniels), Bill Moffit (Velours) and Jimmie Rick's (Ravens). @@@*** Sembene Nathanyahu, author and creator of the future bestseller, "Whisper's Getting Louder", in Chicago. ***@@@
