The handling and steering of my 1982 Peugeot 504 wagon daily driver are addictive. Cornering grip is phenomenal, and the steering is direct and precise with a vivid, talkative feel to it. As much as enthusiasts love to extol the Mazda Miata for having one of the best driving experiences ever, the Miata that I daily drove between 2008 and 2012 didn't come close to the goodness of the 504.
