Flying back into reus in 8 weeks can't wait remember in 1987 it was a small military airport as you see when walking outside at the front the jet on the podium

Never seen a 787 go from east mids before didnt think the runway was long enough to get take off speed

Yeah, East Mids occasionally has a 747 visit for cargo Ops. TUI used to operate a weekly flight with the 787 to Florida before the pandemic but sadly no longer operate that route.

Yes in fact a TUI B788 departed EMA for Bridgetown, Barbados just two weeks ago and returned to EMA Yesterday morning (08.03.2024)

@@aviatoriferno7667 Since 2001, security restrictions no longer makes this possible with most if not all airlines. You can always ask the crew at the end of a flight to see the flight deck and they often let you

Whats the difference between the approaching minimums and approaching decision height callout?

Decision height is used when on a CAT II/III ILS landing. In this landing, on the 787, the automated call out by the system is ‘approaching decision height’ which has been tapped into the FMC. Then as it passes through this altitude ‘minimums’ is called out. The pilot responds with ‘continue’.

Good question. I don’t know if any Boeing 787 pilots can answer. Btw I see you are into flight Sim on your channel. Ive just got back into it with MSFS2020. 👍🏼👍🏼

@@LDRInFlight yah I’ve been doing it for a couple years now. I have msfs it’s great for VFR I find but I think the airliners need some time to mature. Hopefully the aerosoft crj will be good!

@@FrecklesAviation I agree. I think the FBW team are doing excellent work with the A320. Looking forward to where it will go over the next few months. The CRJ Does look good. I’m learning ATC speak at the mo getting ready to give VATSIM a try.

I was on that exact plane , pixie dust , from Manchester to Heraklion because we where on a 737 and the NAV system failed so we had a SIX hour delay and then went on pixie dust :)

Well done and if you are wondering the north turn approach to Newark Airport actually follows the motorway I-95 exits 15w-13A (🇬🇧 M95 J15W-J13A) with the last being I-78 exit 58B toll plaza (🇬🇧M78 J58B tolls) that is if you were to use British Motorway Junction systems on American interstates

Lol the plane at the beginning of the video can't be EI-FZB because that photo ain't the sky interior

munkboy19 lol Thats a great spot. The still photo I used was of EI-EXF on the return flight a few days later. I was able to capture it before boarding. The footage was onboard EI-FZB. Definitely prefer the sky interior.

The seat config is 3-3-3 but this end row has 2-3-2. Theres a bit of gap between you and the window but a great view out onto the wing.

Looks like British Airways put a B767-300ER reg G-BNWV into storage at Sanford last year. You can just see tail after turning off the runway

The 787 is much quieter than this video lets on. Those flaps overhand needs a inspection ... Wow annoying sound. But nice video !!
