Plenty of Black children in my classroom, I am a teacher with waist length straight blonde hair, came up to me and touched my hair when they thought I wouldn't notice. They were curious children, I wouldn't be as accepting of adults touching me at all. I totally understand this post.

I think what you are forgetting is that just because you was okay with strangers randomly touching your hair as a kid, doesn’t mean every little white girl would have been okay with it. For me growing up I didn’t care what your race was, if I don’t know you don’t touch me. Touching someone without there consent is wrong. That’s why this started happening in the first place. Everyone is not the same, so to believe that because you are okay with other people doing this to you means everyone is okay with you doing it to them is very closed minded. The moment black women started growing their natural hair out random people at work, in grocery stores, and so on would come up out of nowhere, an just start touching. That’s why people started saying this and no it wasn’t just towards white people, but their own race as well. So just because you are okay with strangers doing that to you doesn’t mean everyone has to be. And it shouldn’t have to be seen as a “moving backwards”thing. It should be seen as respect peoples personal space. like I still to this day don’t see why people would be mad about people saying please don’t touch me. No means no right?

Now that's should be the discussion. We all act like the booty grab was crossing the line when sports players and coaches always be doing that to each other no matter on-or-off camera. We, the receiver, would let that slide if we're close and comfortable to the giver. Of course there are people which reject no matter, but in a general sense there's no harm to giving your best friend a squeeze and/or accept the squeeze from them at a acceptable time and rate. Pulling up the trousers tho, and knowing the coach almost digged inside of it, touching the guy's buttcrack are confidently off limits unless they had some dirty, private time behind closed doors that we don't know of or something like that.
