Country has gone to shit stay off drugs

I spent 20 Months in HMP Nottingham and 6 people died from either Suicide or Mamba overdose when i was there, i was Transfered to Dovegate from Nottingham in Jan 2024. the Jail is Rife with hash and Mamba, Staff are useless, most of them are about 18-25 years old, and thier responsible for looking after some serious People. its a good jail if your on the Remand wings, But if youre on the lifers wings its Gharza Strip

i just got out of dovegate in March. i was on N Wing. My freind who is serving a life sentence on K wing told me about this last week. When i was there on N wing, a Lads pad got spun and they found a 10 inch Blade, you should of seen the size of it, how on earth he got it i dont know.

Big weird slob though he is, it’s not a life sentence is it? It’s very much to do with who she is.

Discouraging people not to commit crime is the reason why prisons cant be too Comfortable!

Nobody with a murder conviction should be working in a kitchen with knives, or in an art class with knives and scissors, and that includes the victim who was in for murder, even though he actually did nothing. That's on the prison system.

Close mental hospitals and put sick people in prison. Not really a good strategy at all. I have no faith in politicians anymore to do what is right and sensible for the people of this country. As for "joint enterprise" it sounds totally unjust to me. Surely, common sense would dictate that for it to be joint enterprise there would have to be evidence of intent on the part of all participants.

Ive been in dovegate when it was almost new bk in 2001. Loads of everything in there its a private jail in uttoxeter.

The amount of lads I've come across in jail who should have been in some sort of secure hospital instead of jail you wouldn't believe. Jail is just a dumping ground instead of dealing with the larger issue.

He’s not still in prison for the murders. He’s in prison for violent crimes he has committed whilst being in prison. He is still in prison because he is a dangerous threat to humanity.

If you have a huge pile of legal letters / or a lot of paperwork in 1 envelope which is stamped to prove legally privileged, I've never know screws check the envelopes properly

He looked really spiteful him, I was looking at him before he was caught, I had never heard of his band at all. My Jaw hit the floor when I read what he wanted to do, his arrogance to think he could get away with horror on that scale is breathtaking.

Staff followed the policy.. so its a rub down search before the visit and a strip search after the visit.. This wa s aplanned attack and hes knew where to hide that weapon to keep it away from detection during the search.. Searching policies need changing.. this is not a staff mistake..
