Respected professor when usually you start Sglt2 inhibitors in your practice in a patient with acute mi, like immediately or 24 hours or after 72 hours or during discharge, when you want to prefer the Sglt2 inhibitor professor, thank you in anticipation.

Well that is good news as I recently found out that I have HCM but am also going to the gym and lifting weights. I always had in the back of my head, am I doing more harm than good? I get easily winded but no chest pains so I continued. Hearing things like this puts me more at ease...which may be a bad thing if the information is incorrect.

Fantastic results and clearly explained. I’m on the waiting list here in the UK for Mavacamten, as it recently received the green light from NICE. While I am tampering my expectations, all the results from the different trials are most encouraging. This is a remarkable step forward for the treatment of hypertrophic cardiomyopathy and all the scientists and clinicians involved should be congratulated.

The data is unreliable and efficacy should be monitored on a case by case basis. It CAN cause ketoacidosis and hypoglycaemia in patients without diabetes. It also causes idiopathic low blood pressure levels as a result - Heart failure patient here (HFrEF 30-35 cardiomyopathy) who has trialled Dapagliflozin twice. Once in October 2021 and again in June 2022. In both instances, two different Cardiologists at two different major hospitals ceased the use of it.
