What a jewel to stumble upon I love the song and then up comes my favorite of all time Pete Townshend, I'm like whoe are you kidding me

It's so amazing how one of Pete Townshend's throwaway demo tracks is still better than what 90% of other artists will ever write or release, he's truly on another level.

This performance is over the top great! I've loved this tune for several years, but Townsend's high-on-the-neck playing adds SO much. And then his harmony vocals - wow. Chills down my spine!

This song was played at the funeral of my 29 year old daughter who, along with her fiancé, were killed by a DUI driver. Then, six months later, it was played at the funeral of my 39 year old son, who died of an overdose after he restarted his drug usage to self medicate after losing his baby sister. I have requested that it be played at mine.

Pete Townsend and The Who are truly one of the most formative influences in my life growing up in Canada. From the first concert in Toronto in 1981 where they opened with Baba O'Reilly and the explosion from the flash pods in the climax of the song I was launched into a life long relationship with music singing, song writing, guitar and piano and this performance captures the essence of all that for me; a beautiful song supported by a legend with a layer of icing from the piano. Well done and thank you.
