And the easiest way to connect the "ignition" wire to the fusebox is to use a piggyback fuse tap.

What’s the difference between these and a dcdc charger that plugs into a solar panel?
@KickAssProductsКүн бұрын
G'day jorden,these are a dedicated solar regulator & can handle a lot more solar than the dcdc can as the dcdc is a good all rounder that can do everything but can only fit so much tech stuff inside,these new controllers are a stand alone solar controller Thanks for watching Cheers Craig

Love your energy and work guys. Just wondering why we need a breakdown of the technical jargon on a rebrand 😂 Sticker looks great. I love it how it matches all the other stickers and how nicely it is all colour coded. Thats some good sticker graphics design. Really keen on some Australian made gear. Have you guys got any tech thats actually been designed and manufactured in Australia by you guys? Ps. Let us know when the price comes down. Got the same gear on Springer for $159. Again, great colours and great re-interpretation for us illiterate folk.😅

Can this work in tandem with the KickAss 12V Control Hub With 20A DCDC Charger? I have the 20A DCDC Charger running off alternator while driving but obviously 20A is much slower charge to the 40A so obviously the question I need to ask can this work in tandem aka the 20A for alternator and the 40A for solar?
@KickAssProductsКүн бұрын
G'day mate,you can definitely use Bothe regulators but they have to be connected to different inputs to your battery,you can't run 2 solar regulators into each other as they won't work Thanks for watching Cheers Craig

@@KickAssProducts Thanks Craig. When parked up the DCDC Charger won't be used with the solar panels just the MPPT controller will have the solar panel attached to it not the DCDC charger :)

I the kings 24AH pack also and the Kickass KickCharge 300 24Ah Lithium Power Pack / Hub its almost identical, each charge last about 30% longer with the Kickass. I got both Power Packs new a few days apart and have done multiple tests using the same 12V stuff plugged in. Every time the Kickass outlasted the Kings. Example 12V electric blanket last 6 hrs with Kings and 10 hrs with Kickass using the same settings

@@KickAssProducts cheers mate you sold me on that I work at a mechanics and we use old fashioned load tester before we use it before we charge batteries to test to see if it worth the time charging. Since living out here in the middle of nowhere for someone reason I see time and time again batterys failing they can be from few months old to cppl years old they just don't last out here for some reason. Compare to where I'm from South of Adelaide where I've had the same battery going strong for 6 years however soon as I moved out here I can already tell it's starting to fail. Which puts me in the market for a battery charger that will keep the new one healthy and yours will let me know when my current one fails which is awesome. Soon as I get one will promise to do a fair non bias review on it on my channel ☺️.

I have an amateur radio which runs on 12V (13.8V) and can draw 20A. I got the Jaycar cigarette lighter plug to Anderson and have ordered an extra power cable with the 4 pin connector to the radio and I want to put an Anderson plug on it and then I can plug it into the Bluetti. I won’t be using the 100W max power so the cigarette lighter should still be within capacity. When using the radio at home I use a heavy duty in line power supply with a big transformer in it.

My eyes didnt trick me eh? You can put something that consumes 3000 watts right into the 240V power socket on the 3000 watt converter right? Just because on many other inverters you only have for example 1.5k watts per power socket amd anything that consumes 3000 watts on its own needs to be hard-wired onto the thing.
@KickAssProducts22 күн бұрын
G'day mate,you will struggle running a appliance eg:3000 watts through a 3000 watt inverter as i suggest having at least 250 watts of headroom above what your appliance use's so for a 3000 watt appliance i would recommend a larger inverter eg:3500watt or larger inverter Thanks for watching Cheers Craig
