Thanks Sean, always a pleasure to edit and relive the trip for a few weeks later - while the toe heals. LOL

Hope that you recovered and won't forget the lesson - drive slower on such roads and stop if you want to admire the view.

It doesn't like the wet leaves. Gonna need something closer to a dirt bike tire

Love your work , Gary. Always a grand soundtrack to go with the visuals. From a 70 yo old-school thumper rider rotating between a DR 650 and a gen 1 KLR 650, always on the backroads (many of which are featured in your videos), self-supported with camping rig...

appreciate the feedback . And to think i have only been riding offorad for 16 months, i should have given up the road bikes years ago. This is far more enjoyable and the scenery we get to see is amazing.

After going up Devil's Bellows Pass, did you go down Katberg Pass and then across to Seymour , and up Michel's Pass into Hogsback ? If so , do you have footage of that?

Thanks for sharing. I presume an old video as that road is full of potholes now. Brings back great memories of no cops to worry about and most cars move over to let you pass. The very best times of my life was spent in ET.

yes, an old video - remembering the days when we did not need an adventure bike to ride on tarmac

9 Minutes from Sabie to Hazeyview is a super good time! Yup that is how we ride in ET. Friendly cops allowing bikers to have the best times of their lives without a worry to slow down. Notice the cars being aware of the bikes and allowing them the space to overtake safely. ET is my perception of heaven!

Congrats, great riding. I lived in RSA from '84 - '87 and we did spend the chrismas holidays at "Jock of the Bushfeld" doing the "22" 3-4 times up and down each day. Bob Hardy was the man to beat at that time. Beeing from Switzerland (lot of bikers and turns) and having good material Kawa GPZ1100 we did pretty well but never did beat Bob our Hero.
