@@wasteintasmania funny enough this might have been my last time filming it, it’s down at grantville now, got a whole heap of electrical issues, was going to get fixed but they found more things wrong, so might not be worth the money. It amazes me how the 3 trucks that they refurbished are now in worse condition than the 4 they didn’t touch 😂

Yeah this things been roaring for ages, sounds great, this vid I’ll keep for a while, will probably be uploaded after cleanaway takes over. I found out the runs this truck does, and met the normal driver Clayton, so only a matter of time until I get some more footage of it. EDIT: I found out prior to its refurbishment the boss used to drive this truck and it used to run with auto revs turned off, after it was refurbished in 2020 they turned them on and it just started roaring like this (maybe all those years of being quiet got to it and it had to make some noise 😂) I didn’t find out about this truck until 2022, as I thought it got scrapped as I never saw it anyway lol, had it for my greens for a year with that grumpy driver (I can send you some clips I’ve got of it, messenger or insta?) really great truck this one.

They are slowly replacing all old public litter bins with new ones. the bin @1:25 is a 140L oTTo - Old Brunswick bin from the Cleanaway days.

Current contract ends 2025 or 26, however Cleanaway is taking over sometime in the next 12-14 months. Saturday collection is totally possible. this week they did garbage on saturday, most weeks there is saturday work somewhere.
