Hello. Great tutorial. But it doesn't work. I assembled it exactly as you showed, I set the cut-off to 3.80v, but when I connect the 18650 battery, nothing happens, the green LED is still lit and the display shows the battery charge value. It won't load. Regards

If I follow video I have seen that you made big mistake. 3,7 volt battery + pole you soldered to first pin of NE 555 that should be connected to - negative pole of battery. And you write - to the + pole of battery. After wrong connection 555 become hot and your fingers burned. Aftet that you corrected. If I were you I would reshoot the video. Best wishes.
