Guatemala Dental Group, Oscar and son, Rodrigo GUERRA collectively in two separate failed implant surgeries paralyzed (killed) my inferior alveolar (IAN), mental, lingual nerves. The initial placement was a departure from the treatment plan: simple RCT root tip removal, extract a loose 1st bicuspid, use topographic imagining to plan and fabricate a surgical guide. Both "dentists" admitted an error was made: the tooth WAS NOT extracted and the "guide" placed a 10mm implant directly into my IAN and the mental foramen where it exits enervating my chin, lower lip and external face. The IAN enervates the teeth, gums, and cheeks and controls many normal functions like drinking, not drooling, speech, integrity of face, kissing, shaving, etc. (If you have ever had a filling placed in a tooth on lower left or right, think how you would feel if the anesthetic NEVER WORE OFF!). As said, the Group admitted error after I complained Re: unrelenting, excruciating pain, 3 separate ER visits, multiple drugs, including narcotics, sleep and weight loss, and lancinating discomfort 24 hours a day. They actually paid for return 3 weeks later from the U.S, and 2 nights in an Airbnb. At the second surgery I argued with younger Guerra after seeing topographic image, showed implant sitting atop my IAN canal, (There are 4 ways implant placement can damage or numb the nerve.) Guerra argued the standard of care, 2 mm free the canal in all planes was arbitrary. The literature has no references <1.5mm. A that surgery to remove the implant into the mental foramen the elder Guerra horsed out the implant with considerable effort and time, resorting to cutting away bone and eating the titanium of the implant (Think impacted wisdom tooth with screw threads!). The son approched me saying a surgical guide for correct placement of area once occupied by unextracted tooth was available and the elder proceeded to drill a final implant INTO my IAN canal: i,e, HE MADE THE SAME MISTAKE TWICE!! A temporary bridge was placed with considerable downward time and pressure in occlusion (more damage) and again, departure from "standard of care." 3 weeks later an IMPLANT SPECIALIST/PROSTHODONTIST in Cancun removed all, $1500, placed PRP membrane (my blood), bone graft, sealing membrane, membrane to stimulate gum growth, achieved primary closure by surgical lifting the floor of my mouth. He stated where rather than reversing the implant final driver, old school Mengele probably did MORE DAMAGE, CONTRIBUTED TO PROSPECT OF PERMANENT DYSFUNCTION even with careless placement, "The damage was EXTENSIVE." The Special back out both 30 seconds each. Of course the last two months pain, changed my life. I have always had a sense of humor and preferred to find the "silver lining," but its constant intensity made me question whether I wished to live.

In the Netherlands dentures is free of cost . The basic health care insurance about 180 euros every month included this even implants snap dentures. Even rebase reline . Every 5 year new dentures for free. Also removing teeth extractions. Nobody must go through a financial hell. Everyone has the right for the best a beautiful smile depending on your wishes. Dental cost is 40% lower than in the USA. Reminding whe have high qualifying dentist etc.
