That is a long walk. I walked from Fanshawe College to Jalna and Ernest during a comfortable evening. Good to see a lot of interesting things I wouldn't see in a vehicle.

Very cool. I used to live in the Auborn Park Apartments, your video around 7:25, back in 1980. I left for California in Jan 1981 so it has been a long time since I have seen the neighborhood. Certainly looks different. More commerce and the people look a lot different. More middle eastern. Earlier in the video I spotted the apartment complex I lived in back in 1976-77 right across from Westmount Mall. That whole area going south from the apartment to Southdale was just empty land. As was going further south past Southdale. All empty land. Now it's a bunch of fast food restaurants.

Thanks- that brought back lots of old memories for me. I got one of my first jobs at Sears-that store anchored the Mall on the Westside back then. On the Eastside the Mall was anchored by a Burdines that gone. Amazingly J.C. Penny is still holding on after all these years I'm talking back to 1972. It would be great if you take a video of inside the Mall anyways good work.

Thanks, I'm glad you enjoyed the walk. I did do a walk through the Westland mall on my channel. I am not as familiar with the mall as you are as I was only visiting from Canada. It is always interesting to hear a bit of history of the mall though, I appreciate it. Thanks for watching!! 😊🇨🇦

I got my first job at the Sears in Westland Mall back in 72 back then the business was mainly done in English with Spanish spoken for a minority of customers. I remember patronizing the bookstores that were open then-now gone. On weekends this place was packed as families not only bought there but would visit just for fun and maybe go to the food plaza. All those white people you see are probably Hispanics-proud of my people to keep the Mall open. In those days the Mall had a Sears Roebuck store in the East end, a Burdines in the West end and a J.C. Penney in the middle.

The only time I ever went to Westland Mall was in the summer of '96 as a tourist from France and back then it was almost empty and it looked like it was about to close... Then I moved to Miami permanently 11 years ago and I never thought about Westland Mall ever again... I'm pleasantly surprised to see it's still here...And with new things too... I'll go there as soon as I have some time... Thanks for the video 👍👍

There are more Tim hortons in London than, people, a little over saturated, students at Westeren, and Fanshawe, are the most irresponsible people in Canada, a lot of gangs here from Toronto, and guns fired more than once a day, rent prices are crazy, one bedroom apt is over $1500 a month, and that’s an old un renovated one, and no lobs, all below min wage, stay away from London, and don’t move here.

It was such a wonderful show, I was really surprised how much love babymetal got. Honestly thought most of the Dethklok fans would leave for Babymetal. Babymetal had so much energy as always though, second time seeing them and it was just as amazing as the first time. Got me a little emotinal, cried a few times throughout the their performance.
@Wonderfeet1019 ай бұрын
Second time seeing them for me as well. I 💖 Babymetal so much. I think some of the Dethklok fans were surprised by Babymetal. Personally I would have been just as happy with just Jason Richardson (who does a fine job) and Babymetal. I can't understand why they combined Babymetal with Dethklok. I personally find myself a bit emotional during Monochrome for some reason. Thanks for watching and Babymetal forever!!! 🤘🦊🤘

@@Wonderfeet101 I like both bands personally, I used to watch metalocalypse when I was younger far before I ever got into Babymetal. More of a babymetal fan these days though. But I do agree, it was a weird combination. And the fact there were little kids at the show, it seems a bit much for a show with little kids. I found it kind of weird they weren't monitoring how many drinks people have had. I had 8 beers in me by the time Babymetal got on stage.

@@Wonderfeet101 and yah Jason was great, I didn't recognize him or his name at first. I was a huge Born of Orsis fan.

I personally had never heard of Dethklok or Metalocalypse before this tour. I probably would have enjoyed them more if I wasn't getting squished out of existence in the mosh pit, lol. Maybe I should have had some beer as well, but I didn't want a full bladder during Babymetal if you know what I mean. How much were the beers by the way? I saw them being served in little plastic cups with lids. Yeah Jason is pretty badass!!
@kurrupoppo69379 ай бұрын
@@Wonderfeet101 they were pretty expensive being it wasn't even the full beer, I think it was like $8. But yah I know what you mean, I had to do a few washroom runs lol.
