I disagree with alot of what you said in the video. 1) The reason why Devilsknife is (almost always) useless in battles against normal enemies is not because of its low damage, but because of Susie's high damage. Example: imagine that Susie has 100 damage and the enemy has 100 hp. It doesn't matter how much we increase Susie's damage, because the battle will still end in one turn. (This, by the way, is also the reason why puppet scarf OP: Ralsei has low starting damage, and therefore the increase in damage is very useful) 2) Devilsknife OP against bosses/minibosses. I don't know how you checked, but the battle with the King can be completed more than one turn faster. This weapon's true strength is in the Rude Buster, not the attack. The buster's damage increases not only from magic, but also from damage (by 11 for each damage). This 10% is also very influential, because the spell can now be used much more often. So even though mech ax + tail is 1 damage better, the knife is still better due to the lower cost 3) Your buff makes no sense: it will either make the knife broken against everyone, or only against bosses. 4) I don’t think that the Knife is much worse than the tail. While the tail is still stronger due to the fact that it can be equipped on any team member and how many uses it has, the knife clearly does a lot more damage. It is very doubtful that the weapons of the third chapter will be stronger than the knife (if the new ax gives +6 damage, the knife will still be better due to magic and the reduction in cost, and against enemies there will be the same problem with Susie’s high damage). Moreover, it is not a fact that the tail will not become useless in the next chapters. In conclusion: the knife is very far from "useless", because it is much, much better against minibosses and bosses than the tail (although in all other situations the tail is better, of course). Also, do not forget that in the second chapter there more mini-bosses or strong opponents appeared (Werewerewire, Task Manager, Berdly, Mauswheel). Even if the knife still needs a buff, I would just add more powerful enemies in the next chapters, because again, its strength in Rude Buster. Although I still see a potential problem, the knife may become weaker than the tail + new axe. It would be worth increasing the damage of the buster / nerfing the tail P.S.
