The cdi cap and forks are alloy you can just polish them up with wet flatting and a light polish off, still, nice job

pro tip: do it in regular shoes not moto boots. Back brake is harder to feel in the boots.

i found a xr250 engine re-build video. it was very detailed,i assume the bore is the only difference,not the carb settings?

There is a significant difference between the XR200R and XR250R! And the engines are nothing alike! 2-valve on the XR200, 4-valve on the 250. Almost no interchangeable parts...!
