it's beautiful, good colour, but, what's the difference between ehb1005MS vs EHB 1265MS?

Is it normal for that Hi-Fi tweeter to hiss? I just got mine today and I’m a bit worried about it as it is my first amp

There is more hiss with the hifi tweeter of the Pure version (the one I have), which is kind of weird, but it is reported to be "normal".

@@MUPHYSLAWTV Got it, thanks! Yeah, I'm more interested in the MB58R CMD 102 PURE Combo with an 8 ohm MB58R 102 PURE extention cab to unlock the full 500 watts when I need it. I was also considering going with a MB58R 104 PURE cab and one of the MB heads, but I already have a "larger" and more powerful rig in my GK Fusion 1200 and neo cab, so I was looking for a smaller and more portable solution for situations that are not appropriate for the GK.

Hey guys, no I do not agree, active or passive basses it’s not easy to clip these speakers. The amp input is pretty sensitive but if the input gain is right these speakers go pretty darn loud. Having said that I am and always have been a 10 guy and smaller gigs and rehearsals I use the 2x10 version and on big gigs I use Ninja heads and 4x10 pure cabs. But THE BEST mark bass I ever played was the Alain Caron K1 super combo. That thing is incredible! That’s the only 12 I ever truly liked and the amp it’s self? I was playing massive stages with just that and it’s 1x12 extension. Killer. But these new cabs and combos rock

Hi, I have a Ibanez sr405 and was wondering how the 12 handels a b string at a loud volume? Easy to sound good at low volume.

Hey there mate. It’s tight and punchy and does not distort out. I have used both this and the 2x10 version in various live situations with 5 and 6 string and various effects like octave etc and it’s really clean and tight. Personally I am a 10 guy, I just prefer that size speaker, and to be honest, it’s probably just a placebo/can’t teach and old dog new tricks thing but both these amps handle medium venues and stages fine. And depending on style of music of stage volumes of your companions, it’s good for big gigs too. I have played large stage festivals with it also with no issue. And with a second 12 extension? Well you good to go for any gig in my opinion.Cheers for watching ✌️❤️

How do you like it for passive pickups, especially like a P bass? I’ve been looking at the new Markbass gear as a backup to my Genz Benz Shuttle 6.0 combo which I still love as my main rig for small to medium size venues.

In the studio where I did the recording, just to the left of camera on the wall is 10 basses. Being an Ibanez Endorsee I was unable to play them in the video, but off camera I did pull down a 74 Fender P, a Dan Armstrong Ampeg bass, a 5 string stingray and a Rickenbacker and I liked it on all of them. Like I say, Mark bass has a tone to it, it is not completely transparent, it has the Mark Bass tone but your bass still sounds like your bass. And I am really liking this new range. I also tried the 210 Combo recently. Also a great combo. So for passive P bass I can highly recommend this. And I had a discussion recently about 1x12 or 2x12 or 2x10, and I have tried lots of them, and honestly, for this price point, you will not find better. The mix of features, the light weight and quality of sound? I think this makes it a certain winner.

Ive been after this model for. While. Reallyvlike the 1505ms, wasnt too keen on the 1005ms (Bartolini sounds bit dull/flat compared to the Nordstrand pickups...), However, i really like the look of the 1265
@ToyBoxPlayaReviews

The 1265 is my fave of all the EHB so far. I did not keep this bass however if I did I would use the Aguilar DCB. However, when you do the preamp tweak, switch the two internal connectors, the Barts sound much more lively and bright.

Hey Herby, Thanks for the feedback mate. No, yeah, everyone likes it different, according to what I do though it needs no adjustment, that’s the way I set my two SR5006 basses. The crunch and buzz is part of my sound. I get it as crunchy as I can before it losses sustain or chokes the notes, that is my preferred set up in those puppies so it’s super aggressive and percussive. Cheers ✌️

I hear ya Tony, it was the only concern I had with this bass. It plays and sounds great and the price point is awesome but the basswood body stuff? Personally I stay away from the softer body woods for live use because my gear takes a pounding. I have gigged the EHB line and have not had an issue aside from a few strap pins pulling out. They are more liable to cop a ding or two than other more dense woods. The pair of Japanese made RB730’s from the early 80’s I play a lot are bass wood bodies and bass wood is actually really punchy. And over the years they have become quite resonant, but the biggest difference for me in durability? If you look at the older Japanese made bass wood guitars they use a very thick finish on them which protects them from picking up easy dings and bumps. That would be my gripe, the newer ones have a very light finish. If they beefed up the finish and gave it a nice thick one, these basses are unbeatable. But then? That’s why I like the EHB1265 so much, it’s a hell of a lot sturdier.

@ToyBoxPlayaReviews
@ToyBoxPlayaReviews Жыл бұрын
You using headphones?? The action certainly was pretty low outta the box when they sent it, I literally unboxed it half an hour before the video, but also on top of that what you are hearing would be a bit of the acoustic sound from the Room mic as well because cause I play pretty hard compared to most. I ended up setting the action at about 2.3mm or so on the B and E at the 12th fret marker so it was low but not super low, especially for a fretless. Really fun fretless to Play, after the vid I actually noodles around for another hour or so, lots of fun. 🤟😉
