Hey! Looking at a few unibody SUV options that will let me securely use a hanging bike rack that needs a good platform for some tongue weight to hold several bikes. Just curious if there is any midsize SUV that has a better or more secure interface for the hitch mount than another. Highlander, Pilot, Explorer, Telluride, and Pathfinder are options. Any experienced input on what might be a solid option if I can’t pick up a body on frame like a 4Runner?

We jave a 2023 Ascent with the dealer installed tow package with the 4 or 7 pin connector. We will be picking up a pop up camper in a coupke weeks. The rv dealer will be adding a brake controller, but they asked me if it gas a "hot" wire. I would assume so? Fairly new to me.

Would that same model fit a 2011 Toyota rav4? I’ve seen other videos that most models fit 2006 to 2018 Toyota rav4s. Can you confirm?

I get the feeling that woman with the bracelet and silky soft hands has never installed a fifth wheel hitch before, but was selected for the video despite the fact she (DEI) Didn't Earn It...I think the guy who "helped" her was actually pushed out from speaking in the video for political reasons.....Now you see how Uhaul rewards their employees, by pushing them aside for political servitude. For shame, I will now NEVER use Uhaul again. I don't support DEI Communism.

Should it take 4 hours for them to do this? Ive been at the uhaul since 8am was first on the list and at 12:11 (as im writing this) its still being worked on is this normal i understand things take time but the woman at the desk told me 2-2.5 hrs and im getting closer to 4.5 at the moment

They forgot to mention that you need to enlarge the access holes. If you don't enlarge the access holes in the frame of the equinox you won't be able to put the plates and the bolts through the access hole so that you can install the hitch. You can't even start the installation until the holes are enlarged this should be mentioned immediately before starting the video installation. It should also show her enlarging the holes....

Just did my install watching this. Good news. If you don't want to, you don't have to lower your exhaust, just did it alone using a car jack to help lift to the bolts

Cayenne is one of the most stupid cars u can buy. An expensive off road vehicle with no hitch nor roof rack😂. Bringing ur bike along becomes stupid coz ur car is stupid. Buying this car is like screwing urself in the ass. The engine is weird and only takes the most expensive octane. Everyday i drive mine, i would hear a weird sound i've never heard yet. U then go under the hood to try and find out..... and shit....u can't see shit, coz they covered everything. what a German engineering...the Porsche designers must have been smoking crack when they were designing this car coz it seems like they confused the word masturbate with masterpiece.

Video doesn’t explain anything about the small box that connects to the power cable . I safely screwed it into a spot but it may be too exposed. What do you recommend?

Do I need to disconnect the battery before beginning? (No) I didn't disconnect. Worked fine. And my 2013 Soul didn't match the set up in this Soul. Other comments has shown why.
