Very helpful review. I currently have Boundary Errant Pack. Although it works fine for my daily work, it is a bit too small for my occasional international flights. So I was thinking getting this Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro to fulfill both purposes. However some comments said Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro capacity is not really 26L and might be much smaller than it claims. Do you think it really has similar capacity with Boundary Errant Pack? I am considering Tortuga Laptop Backpack, and Thule Chasm Laptop Backpack 26L. Wondering how the real capacity of these backpack are. Is it Thule Chasm Laptop Backpack 26L > ALPAKA Elements Backpack Pro > Tortuga Laptop Backpack > Boundary Errant Pack? I tried Thule Chasm Laptop Backpack 26L but it does not seem to be much bigger than my Boundary Errant Pack. Thanks.

HI there @chengoak288 Thanks for your comment! I haven't tried the Errant Pack myself nor the Tortuga, but just from looking at the bags, the space does seem similar to the Elements Pro. Personally, I find the Alpaka Elements Backpack Pro is more than enough for my daily needs, but it really comes down to what you typically carry. If you think you might want some extra space, I also recommend the Alpaka Shift Pack V2 as an alternative. It offers more room and could be a better fit for your international flights. Hi there! Sorry for my late reply, missed your comment. Based on the sizing guide, as my hand fell in-between for the size test, I went with the large size. To find the right size for you, measure your palm with a credit card. If your palm is smaller than the card, get the small. For in-between or if it's larger than the card, go for the large size. Hi there! I haven't tried it myself personally, but I am aware of it. For me I just like having everything together in a ecosystem that simplifies my life, in this case Apple FindMy. Having another app that would only serve to track my wallet didn't make sense for me at the time. If i were more invested into Tile's ecosystem in the past, I would definitely have considered it. Appreciate the suggestion!

Excellent video, already have the Elements tote! Only thing I wish it had is more grip on the handles to stop it slipping off the shoulder as easily. You covered everything so well…I wish I had seen this before buying👍

i just got my alpaka schift pack v2 but it is so uncomfortable on one of my shoulders and completely fine on other. i tried each and every setting but only if a pass a certain part of the strap i feel okay but then its too loose on one side. I have never faced such a problem. Also my chiropract says my shoulders are perfect. my friend tried my bag and felt same issue. does some have some insight on it?

Hey there! I'm sorry to hear about the trouble with your Shift Pack! Have you tried reaching out to Alpaka? Perhaps it might be a manufacturing issue with the straps. Myself personally, I haven't experienced any discomfort or issues, and I've used it pretty regularly since I got it.

Hello! After some months of usage, have you experienced any kind of scratch on your buttons? I just received mine and I love it, but I’m worried about the fact it doesn’t have any kind of protection on the inner part of the case and I think it could scratch my iPhone’s buttons. Any update! Thanks a lot! I just bought mine after seeing your video.

Hi @ivansilvas In the all the time i've used this case, I haven't experienced any type of scratch or damaged from the buttons! In speaking with their team, the buttons have been extensively tumbled for deburring, and then go through a rigorous multi-step PVD coating process. In our testing the PC sticker degrades the click of the button, and is not needed because of our new PVD coating process. Basically the CNC buttons will not damage your phone at all, hope that helps! 🙂

Are you sure iphone charge power is 7,5w in solo mode? How come if other phones are 15w? Can you double check or test it out?

Hi @Alexdavsh, while I do not have the right tools to test wattage per device, I checked in with the team at Benks that iPhone's have a max of 7.5W. Myself personally, I prefer this as I mainly use it to top up my phone while I am working at my desk, and this also means less heat generated. I hope that helps!

If the charger is ‘Made for Magsafe’ then it can charge an iPhone at 15w via MagSafe, if the charger is ‘MagSafe Compatible’ then it will only charge an iPhone at 7.5w. Apple charges companies for MagSafe certification as far as I know. The charger is going to be Qi with the MagSafe magnets, but without the MagSafe certification, therefore it charges iPhone at 7.5w, Android devices can charges from Qi at 15w but none have the MagSafe magnets built in, so you’d have to buy a case to get them to work.

Hi @fabriziosiano7070! Thanks for checking out my video! It will be a little snug with the sleeve on with the laptop, but it will really come down to the sleeve itself. The one I have offers a lot of extra cushion so it I had to take it off before putting it into the backpack. But if you have a very slim one, it might just fit but will be a little tight. I hope that helps!

I travel with the 30-40 litre expandable minimalist Bange bag which also has a hidden rain cover cinch down side straps and hideaway waistbelt and back straps. Probably a better option than this honestly. And I ordered online via Lazada for $79 Canadian 😊

Hi there! I could only get a standard folding umbrella to fit by having it stick out a little and zipping it closed until it hits the handle. Alternatively, you can consider having it hang off the sling with a carabiner or clip. I hope that helps!
