You should take off your negative terminal. Hook up a volt meter between the battery post and the terminal you've removed. you'll probably see a small draw because any car with computers, etc will always draw a bit of current, but never TOO much. Keep that hooked up and start taking out each fuse and check if that draw changes. When you pull out a fuse and the draw disappears, then that's the circuit with the issue. If it's your alternator, inside is something called a Diode Trio. There are 3 separate windings inside the alternator, each wire has a flow of electrons when the alternator spins. so each diode is like a 1 way valve. They let the electrons out towards the battery but prevent them from coming back through the diode and to ground. So if one of those diodes becomes faulty then electricity can leak through the diode and drain the battery. So for checking that.. You could simply remove the ground cable from the alternator. Hope that helps. If anything, that's enough to get you started.
