Do you hav to use baby shampoo? Can't you just fluh with water?
@TheGreenerLawn
@TheGreenerLawn 3 күн бұрын
@@tanyacaruana7917 No, you don’t havE to use baby shampoo. But here is why you should consider it: - baby shampoo opens up the soil and allows more water to enter and get deeper quicker. - it’s a surfactant so it helps move mediums through soil easily and quicker - you use way less water and the turn around time is 1/2 weeks max vs 3-8 depending on concentration and amount. But short answer is yes you can fluSh with water, use it only if you would like to.

Hi, Thanks for your reply. My yard is quite small, around 19x19 feet, so I water it with a hose. Oddly enough, my moisture meter shows that the soil is moist 9 times out of 10. But the very next day the soil will be dried out . I’ve been proactive and added Propiconazole 14.3 and Disease X, even before summer began. Despite this, I’m not sure what’s gone wrong this year. The yard looks stressed but still shows moisture I suspect it might be a disease, but I’ve treated it consistently, so I’m puzzled. The only other thing I can think of is the soil. I’ve noticed that water isn’t being absorbed correctly in most areas. I know fescue doesn’t thrive in the heat, but this year has been especially tough on it for some reason. Thanks for your help.

@@igormord8636 they recommend 6oz per 4-6 weeks is all you “need”, if you does more, it’s not exponential, as they are living organisms and overcrowding just means something will be out compete (likely the same strain, unless others compete for the same resources). So it’s more wasteful as the microbes over compete their their selfs resulting in loss of your product you applied. My guess and this is pure speculation, and no where founded in facts, but most things like this they under dose, because they know people are moreon’s, not morons… a little on is good so MORE ON is BETTER… so they under do it by a margin. I know that’s how herbicides sold to consumers work, pro products are way higher concentrated by far! I bet it’s the same. @@exnyer72 to be honest, most likely not to the results you would hope or be willing to pay for. The most likely cause of your lack of weeds will be more on the fact your lawn is thick enough to repel them, or out compete them. I know tour wondering why I’m saying this, it’s because it’s relying on the specific herbicide granular product in all of the granular products included, (it’s not all of them it’s certain ones with in the mix, others are fertilizers) to be broadcast, hit the weed and stick to the weed, there isn’t a high probably or hitting weeds this way statistically. That’s why you will not see good, quality pros using this method, rather just spot spray weeds they see, or use a liquid broadcast spray for weeds. PLEASE READ, especially if you have a compromised immune system! One HUGE tip! Ticks are horrendous this year (500,000 new cases are reported every year, and most aren’t reported!). To prevent some of them, cut your grass as short as possible, and BAG it! Ticks sit in wait in taller grasses and have sensors, so they grab onto whatever is walking by! You DO NOT need to get a bullseye rash, or any rash! AND, it can contracted by ANY biting insect: ants, mosquitoes, spiders, ticks, can all carry the poison that can infect you, and if your immune system is compromised by mold, autoimmune diseases, any illness, you can get Lyme disease, and believe me, YOU DO NOT WANT LYME! If you’re bitten, and your immune system is strong, you just get a fever, feel sick, and your body fights it off. Mold is the biggest contributor to a compromised immune system. Breast implants make you extremely susceptible to autoimmune and mold problems! I have had 21 years of illnesses, strange infections, pain, brain and cognitive problems, and organ failures, from which I had 4 major surgeries within 10 months. Plus, a potentially fatal hospital infection for 8 weeks after my explant surgery. I died on the operating table, but they got me breathing again.

Long-term yes but it will not fix immediately, like a surfactant will. Most other liquid aeration, are just surfactants, air 8 actually causes cracks in the soil more for development of roots to get down and in and open it up that way. Not lawn comment but here goes ... Saw a video recently of curing rose black spot fungus by mixing humic acid with common anti-fungal liquid product poured at the roots. I'm in humid northern Louisiana with severe rose fungus annually. This year I mixed Humic 12 (1 oz per gal) with the standard anti-fungal product and poured a quart around each rose bush and a half gallon around the plum trees. I started early in the season and did this 3 times over 3 months. In past years this fungus actually killed some of my rose bushes despite frequent spraying. This year, roses are 90% fungus free, VERY pleased. PS: Roses respond very well to a feeding of RGS and Flora Greene (1.5 oz each per gal) poured at the roots once a month.

If it’s from hydrophobic soil, not allowing water to penetrate, it will get water in with in 15 min and you can sink a screwdriver in at least 6-10”. Now for rebounding the grass, depends on if this is a poor water coverage area or just hydrophobic. If it is just hydrophobic and getting plenty of water 1” a week, it will rebound fully in a month or less depending how far it was down. If it’s a poor water coverage, fixing the water coverage is priority #1 Follow these steps in this video to know for sure kzfaq.info/get/bejne/gMmFjLZmsa2YoGw.html

@@TheGreenerLawn I can definitely stick a screwdriver in it all the way. I'll try to water it better...I don't have the best sprinkler.

Out of curiosity how do you deal with underground mycelium networks? I got one by my alley that's been screwing up the dirt so you can't even mow over it

Do you know if it’s fungi, tree or fungi and tree causing the networks? Would your mind sending me pictures to [email protected] so I can see what you’re dealing with?
