eeeek... thats my hubbys halloween skull leopard cup!!!! i love that cup... its been sitting out here for months because it needs another coat of epoxy on it because someones wife is lazy and will run it through the dishwasher from time to time .. hahaha!!! i will see what i can do about whipping up a tutorial :)

Hey there! I would say it's probably repelling. That happens sometimes depending on the epoxy you're using. It's one of those things that there's no Surefire answer if that's what's happening, if it is, that means that the epoxy is repelling against the ink or the paint or the glitter. It's usually the epoxy fault and not whatever is on the cup. And it doesn't mean that you're using a bad quality resin either, I've had really big expensive brand name brands do that to me and then I would have a really crazy inexpensive resin not do that to me. What I would say is try sealing your cups with spray sealer before you epoxy and see if that helps. Honestly, sometimes it's just not going to. I've grabbed epoxy off Amazon when I ran out knowing that what I was grabbing was a reputable brand and it still did it to me. The only thing I can suggest doing when that happens to you and this is kind of janky but if you add your resume to your cup and you see that starting to repel, he grabbed your spray sealer and spray very lightly over that wet epoxy and then using your finger kind of smooth out as best as you can and blend the spray sealer and the resin as best as you can. That's the only thing that I have ever found that could save the situation. If I would also suggest if that's happening to you to maybe consider switching epoxies. I use KS resin fast set but for a less expensive alternative regular AlumaLite is great, and also super clear epoxy system is great. They're more of an inexpensive option and I've never run into any problems with either of those. Let me know if there's anything else I can help you with ❤

Don’t change your way of doing your tutorials. The rest of us love your “rambling” and just so you know, you’re my late night crafting buddy. I craft from midnight until about 4am. And you are always popping up on my auto play. This whole time I thought I was subscribed and when I realized I wasn’t, how could I keep watching you without subscribing??!!! I enjoy listening to your tutorials. I’ve never been able to make any type of tumbler without messing up so I’m glad you’re here too! I’m not alone in the “what not to do” section of crafting lol

You are amazing and I know what it means to be tired! Then I lose my creative brain! I had a stroke in 2019 and my brain doesn’t work as well as it did before and it’s frustrating! I’m getting there but it’s slow! I am glad you are okay!!!❤❤

I totally understand! I am in the process of changing jobs. I had an awesome schedule that allowed my to work on my tumblers and fill orders to now going to be working Monday thru Friday 8 to 5. Very stressful. Praying for you and your family!!

Thank you for this and being so open and honest. I had 2 full time jobs I worked simultaneously but last year one let me go due to downsizing. We have been struggling ever since. My side business was never like yours, I don't sell just tumblers, but I went from 1 to 2 purse orders a week to almost 1 every couple weeks.

I get it! My insurance won’t approve the surgery for my back so the past year I’ve done the physical therapy, the steroid injections nothing helps I haven’t worked in over a year! I was forced to retire early last November. Point is sometimes you gotta do what you gotta do!
