You shouldn’t be quoting the 403g weight… nobody does that (and it makes no sense, since it’s unusable). The standard is to quote with battery and card, which is 486g.

As an enthusiast I just hope they gonna make like S7 with mechanical shutter and maybe rangefinder EVF. I don't need S5II level camera but panning phots of taxis in Tokyo and scooters in Italy are among my favourite vacation memories.

I agree. I think the i-series are an excellent match for the size of this camera and I love the vintage inspired aesthetic. Plenty of great focal lengths to choose from to fit your needs.

If you get a chance try the 90mm. Almost as compact and excellent image quality. I have the 45 and 65 and considering picking up the 90 again after selling it a while ago.

Hmmmm..... I have one when I got the Sigma fp kit: Camera, 45, and Ninja V. It is my favorite lens for the Sigma. I agree that is a satisfying to use.

Hi Scott, I'm still waiting for the delivery of the S9. I bought the 45mm 2.8 for exactly the same purpose... to go out on the street and as a every Day carry. Can't wait to test this combo for the first time. I think the Sigma 24mm 3.5 is the perfect complement. Greetings from Germany.

What's written on the lens is not wrong. The f=2.0 mm means the lens has a focal length of 2 mm, with an aperature of f/2.2 ≈ 0.9 mm opening, which matches what you see in the front. This means the sensor has a crop factor of around 10, maybe even more.

Honestly I think it isn't too bad. It is one of those products of which I don't understand how it could be developed and made with a fair profit and still '''works'' at this price point. Like those 2 quid wireless earphones including shipping. If I would have this camera in 2003🙃,I would be pretty happy with it I guess. At that time I got my first digicam a 3.2 mp Sony DSC P72. Before that the only affordable options where so bad and had less than 2 mp's. I guess if they could go back in time twenty years in time and sell it. It would have destroyed the digital camera market with its excellent image quality even at 500 quid😉.

I mean i basically see it as a toy ,cant really compare a 25 quid camera with a 1000+ camera/phone , it does seem fun to have , if u have children and wanna show them a hobby id say this is probably a good gift for them .

Dont buy it the camera has good specs but its not optimized you would need to optimize the shit out of before using
